At present, there are six newly-built and under-construction expressway running through Cangzhou, with Daguang, Jingtai, Canglang, Coastal, Shen Chang (Jinshan) and Beijing-Shanghai Expressway in the north-south direction, and only Shihuang and expressway in the east-west direction. The whole expressway structure in Cangzhou is comb-shaped. There is an obvious imbalance in the road network framework, which restricts the play of Huanghua Port's advantages. Judging from the layout of expressway in Cangzhou area, with the transformation of Huanghua Port from a single energy export port to a comprehensive port, there will be a more obvious "competition and cooperation" relationship between Huanghua Port and the surrounding major ports in the future. But in the near term, competition is greater than cooperation. Improving the competitiveness of Huanghua Port, strengthening the contact with the hinterland and providing fast transportation services have become the primary tasks for the development of Huanghua Port. At present, although coastal areas, Shen Chang (Jinshan) and Huangshi (Shihuang) and expressway have passed through the port, the cooperation between the north and south Shen Chang (Jinshan) and the coastal expressway can only be completed, which has no substantial impact on connecting the main service hinterland of Huanghua Port and enhancing the competitiveness of the port. At present, only Huangshi (Shihuang) is the three radiation channels needed to connect the vast hinterland. Therefore, there is an obvious imbalance in the road network framework, which greatly restricts the play of Huanghua Port's advantages and is not conducive to improving Huanghua Port's competitiveness compared with other surrounding ports. The planning and construction of Shigang expressway will make up for this deficiency. Make expressway in Cangzhou form a real road network structure extending in all directions.
