Qin Qing didn't use a word to educate Tan Xue, but proved it with actions. Which proverb does this remind us of?

Experience is the mother of wisdom.

Speak with facts.

Actions speak louder than anything.

Facts speak plainer than words.

Words are groundless, but facts are evidence.

Xue Tan studied under the ancient book Liezi Tang Wen (Xu Chongjing). The original text is as follows: Xue Tan studied under Qin Qing, but he did not lack Qin Qing's skills, so he said that he had exhausted it and resigned. Stop for a while in Fuzhi, farewell dinner in the suburb of Qu, fondling elegy, and making a deafening noise. Xue Tan thanked him for his rebellion and never dared to say anything again.

Xue Tan learned singing from Qin Qing, but before he learned Qin Qing's skills, he thought he had finished it, so he left for home. Qin Qing did not dissuade him, but gave him a farewell dinner on the roadside outside the city. Qin Qing patted the festival and sang an elegy. The song shook the trees and the sound stopped the clouds. Tan Xue then apologized to Qin Qing and asked to come back to continue his studies. From then on, he never dared to say that he wanted to go home.

This ancient prose tells people that there is no end to learning. If you succeed, don't be complacent. Don't try to learn. Learn with an open mind and persevere. It doesn't matter if you make a mistake, correction is the most important thing. Don't flinch in the face of difficulties, study hard and surpass yourself. Because learning is endless, and you will always make progress. Learn scientific and cultural knowledge with an open mind, or you will never finish it. Don't be arrogant, correct your mistakes when you know them.

At the same time, it also gives us enlightenment: on the one hand, it can be said that proper positive education can get good results. Truth is abstracted from real life. Conversely, when it is used to guide students in practice, it should be concrete and visualized. Teachers' guidance should also be rational and emotional, aiming at students who are often complacent. Such guidance can often let them see the bright spots in others, let them objectively evaluate themselves and others, let them really know how to achieve all-round development, how to truly become "four haves" talents, and then inspire them to forge ahead.
