Xi Jiaotong University, referred to as "Xi Jiaotong University" for short, is a comprehensive research-oriented national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and the Central Government. Jointly built by the State Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense and the Ministry of Education, it was selected as the first batch of key construction universities in the Seventh Five-Year Plan and the Eighth Five-Year Plan, and the first batch of seven key construction universities in the "21Project" and "985 Project".

Xidian university, referred to as "Xidian" or "Xijun Power" for short, is directly under the Ministry of Education. It was jointly built by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, Shaanxi Province and xi City. It is the core base of scientific research and personnel training in the field of electronic information in China, and the birthplace of radar, information theory, cryptography, electronic countermeasures and microwave antenna in China.
4. Chang 'an University
Chang 'an University, located in Xi 'an, a world-famous historical capital, directly under the Ministry of Education, is a "2 1 1 project" national key construction university jointly established by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Land and Resources, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government.
It is also the receiving institution of China government's scholarship for overseas students in China, the national cultural quality education base for college students and the training base for reserve police officers of the Chinese People's Armed Police Force. It has the only comprehensive automobile testing ground in colleges and universities in the world.
5. Shaanxi Normal University
Shaanxi Normal University, referred to as "Shaanxi Normal University" and "Shaanxi Normal University", is located in the ancient capital xi 'an. It is a key comprehensive normal university directly under the Ministry of Education, and a key university under the national "2 1 1 Project" and "985 Engineering Advantage Discipline Innovation Platform". It is an important base for training teachers, educational management cadres and other senior professionals in universities and technical secondary schools, and is known as the cradle of teachers.
