What does information engineering major do?

Information engineering majors train senior engineering and technical personnel who have the knowledge of information acquisition, transmission, processing and utilization and can engage in the research, design, integration and manufacturing of information systems in national economic sectors such as information industry and national defense departments. This major is a wide-caliber major, covering most of the original electronic information majors, photoelectric information engineering and remote sensing information engineering. After graduation, I can engage in industrial and electrical engineering fields such as motion control, industrial process control, electrical engineering, power electronics technology, detection and automation instruments, electronics and computer technology, and engage in engineering design, system analysis, system operation, research and development, and economic management.

The information engineering specialty requires higher knowledge of mathematics, physics, circuit theory, signal theory, electronic technology, computer science and technology, and keeps up with the latest technologies in the fields of information and communication engineering, control science and engineering, and constantly updates the teaching content, forming a unique curriculum system.
