Zitong County belongs to the eastern monsoon climate zone of China, and belongs to the humid monsoon climate type in the middle subtropical zone. The main features of the climate are abundant rainfall, mild climate, abundant sunshine and distinct four seasons. Winter is warm, spring is early and summer is long, rainstorm ends late and early, autumn is rainy, and flood season is concentrated. The summer above 22℃ is longer, with an average of 1 13 days, the spring and autumn between 10-22℃ are about 80 days each, and the winter below 15℃ is about 92 days each. Tongxian County is high in the northeast and low in the southwest, with a depressed Tongjiang Valley in the middle and an asymmetric saddle-shaped cross section in the east and west. The topography of the county ranges from high hills and low mountains above 700 meters above sea level in the northeast to shallow hills below 600 meters above sea level in the southwest. The highest point is Wangpiao Mountain in Maying Township in the northeast (9 1 1.6m above sea level). The lowest point is Sanjiangkou (413m above sea level), which is the place where the Houshan Village in Jiaotai Township passes through the river and leaves the county seat, with an absolute drop of 498.6m. The cutting depth of the whole terrain is about100-300m. The geological structure of the county is restricted by the wide and gentle wings of Zitong syncline, and the stratum in the territory is flat and the exposed stratum is almost horizontal. The distribution of rock strata is generally the sedimentary rhythm of the interbedding of purplish red and grayish green sandstone with purplish red shale and mudstone. In addition, near the northwest edge of Sichuan basin, erosion, weathering and denudation are strong. Mudstone and shale are loosely denuded into platforms, and hard sandstone is often eroded into suspended rocks, forming the "Zitong Platform" landform.
Dianjiang County belongs to subtropical humid monsoon climate, with mild climate, abundant rainfall and distinct four seasons. The temperature in early spring is changeable, with hot summer and frequent droughts, rainy autumn and cold winter. The annual average temperature is 17.0 degrees Celsius, and the frost-free period is 289 days. Dianjiang county is located in the east of Huaying mountain range, and its landform is mainly hilly. The mountains in the east and west are towering and staggered; Gaotan River in the middle is used in the county, and Xihe River, Xiaogouchong and Pingba are embedded in it. The highest altitude in Dianjiang County is1183m, and the highest altitude is 320m. The terrain is high in the north and low in the south. The landform of the county is complicated. From the point of view of structure and combination, it is mainly tectonic landform, with the axis wing of anticline being mountainous and the axis wing of syncline being hilly. According to the altitude, it can be roughly divided into three parts: the marginal local middle-low mountainous area, Mingyue Mountain, Jingsheng Mountain 1 1 main peak section, with many cliffs, mainly Zhongshan, high mountains and deep valleys, and steep terrain, all at an altitude of 60. Some areas in southwest China and mountainous areas with low edges, such as the north-south section of Fengshan, the south section of Jinghua Mountain, the north section of Huangcao Mountain and Dali Mountain, are dominated by low mountains, and the ridge on the top of the mountain is gentle. Most of the mountains are cut into V-shaped valleys at an altitude of 500 ~1000m, with a cutting depth of100 ~ 300m and a slope angle of 30 ~ 50. The hilly valley in the middle, along the banks of Gaotan River and Dasha River, is hilly, and there are beaded valley flat dams and gentle slopes along the river. The ground fluctuates gently, and the top of the slope is round or flat. Most places are gently inclined flat dams, all of which are below 500 meters above sea level, with a relative height difference of 30 ~ 100 meters, showing a steamed bread shape.
