Haiyuan College of Kunming Medical University was approved by the Provincial Education Department in June, 20001year, and the first batch of "independent colleges" approved by the Ministry of Education in 2004. It is the only independent medical college in Yunnan Province that meets the needs of the national and Yunnan economic and social development.
The college has two campuses, Gaoxin and Yanglin. High-tech Campus is located in Kunming National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Yunnan Province. There are teaching and research sections and laboratories of various specialties and disciplines, as well as clinical skills experimental center (provincial undergraduate experimental teaching demonstration center), comprehensive dental laboratory, human morphology exhibition hall, computer room, digital foreign language laboratory, library and equipment fitness room.
Fitness training room, psychological consultation room, campus radio station, English listening radio channel, high-speed campus network covering the whole campus, and all student dormitories are equipped with college students' cultural activity rooms. It has advanced teaching and living facilities such as basketball court, volleyball court, tennis court, football field, standard plastic track and field, student apartment and student restaurant.
Yanglin Campus is located in the planned modern Songming Vocational Education Park, with more novel and beautiful buildings and more complete functions. It will become the main campus of Haiyuan College, located in Kunming Songming Yunnan Vocational Education Park. The first phase of the project covers an area of 6.2745 mu, with a construction area of 6.5438+0.7 million square meters and a total investment of 400 million yuan.
