863 Yongxing Island used serial numbers J506 and Jiu Nan 506, but it was changed to 863 in 2003. It is the second 925 (Dajiang class) ocean-going rescue lifeboat, currently serving in the South China Sea Fleet.
J506 started construction in1978165438+10. The platform was launched in February of the following year and in July of the same year. 65438+1October completed the dock mooring test from September to June, and165438+1October conducted the sea trial. There are 230 cabins and rooms on board, equipped with various conventional and special scientific research electromechanical equipment, and the whole workload is equivalent to three 10,000-ton bulk carriers.

Before the ship was launched, most of the cabin sealing parts had been hoisted onto the ship, and the progress of launching, installation and debugging, main and auxiliary motor vehicles, mooring test, sea trial and delivery stipulated in the engineering network atlas was basically achieved in each process stage, thus ensuring that the J506 rescue lifeboat was completed in1May and delivered in1980+October.
