Yiyang Ring Expressway started construction on July 30, 2008. On the afternoon of July 30th, 2008, the construction of xinfeng village-Qingshansi section of Yiyang Ring Expressway officially started. The project is located on the west side of Yiyang City, starting from xinfeng village, Xinshidu Town, Heshan District, Yiyang City in the southeast, connecting with the end of Tongqianwan section of Yiyang Ring Expressway, ending at Qingshanmiao Village, Xielingang Town, Heshan District, Yiyang City in the northwest, and connecting with the starting point of Zijiang Bridge section of Yiyang Ring Expressway.
Yiyang Ring Expressway is a section of the planned Yiyang Ring Expressway. The main line of the project is built according to the standard of four-lane expressway with a design speed of 80km/h and a total length of 9.2 km. 20 1 1 completed and opened to traffic at the end of the year.

3 19 National Highway Yiyang South Ring Expressway starts from the newly-built Sujiaba Interchange at K62+900 Changchang Expressway, passes through Yangmeitang, Stalagmites and Dengshiqiao in the west, enters Lichanggang Township through Zishui, crosses National Highway 3 19, and connects with Yingfengqiao Interchange ramp at K93+620 Changchang Expressway, with a total length of 40 kilometers. 3 19 National Highway Yiyang South Line Ring Expressway is an important supplement to Yiyang Changchang Expressway. Its construction will further improve the original radial road network structure with Yiyang as the center, form a radial and annular road network structure, and connect Changchang Expressway, G3 19, S204, S308, S206 and Yiyuan first-class highways with the expressway loop, effectively solving the problem of transit vehicles passing through the city.
The most direct benefit is that after the completion of Yiyang Ring Expressway, the travel time of vehicles from Taojiang Anhua and other places to Changsha will be shortened by half an hour.
