Founded in 2003, Shanghai Civil Aviation Vocational College is an undergraduate and higher vocational college directly under the Civil Aviation Administration of China and established by the Shanghai Municipal Government. The school covers an area of 2605 mu and is located in the south of Chongming District, Shanghai, adjacent to Shanghai University. The school has seven secondary colleges and 1 community education colleges, offering more than 30 undergraduate, higher vocational and secondary vocational majors such as air transport, civil aviation electromechanical and tourism management. Among them, the major of air transportation is the characteristic major of the school, and it is also the only undergraduate service major in higher vocational colleges in China's civil aviation system.
