The transfer procedure is as follows:
Step 1: Submit the application source to the local police station.
Step 2: The local police station agrees to move in.
The third step; Apply to the police station where the current account is located.
Step 4: The police station where the household registration is located issues the household registration certificate.
Step 5: Apply to the household registration department of the Municipal Public Security Bureau with the household registration certificate and relevant supporting materials (your reasons). Step 6: The household registration department issues the migration certificate.
Step 7: Return to the police station where the household registration is located with the Permit to Move and issue a transfer certificate. Step 8: Go to the local police station with the migration certificate and ID card.

"Regulations on Household Registration in People's Republic of China (PRC)" Article 10 If a citizen moves out of the jurisdiction where the household registration is located, he or she shall declare the registration of moving out to the household registration authority before moving out, obtain a migration certificate and cancel the household registration. Citizens who move from rural areas to cities must apply to the household registration authority of permanent residence for moving out with the employment certificate of the urban labor department, the school admission certificate, or the certificate of permission to move in from the urban household registration authority. Citizens moving to border areas must be approved by the public security organs of the counties, cities and municipal districts where they live.
