I have posted a lot of content to children who speak slowly, and I also receive many parents' consultations every day. As a senior early education teacher/registered psychological counselor, I have been focusing on children's language and psychological development. Usually we advise children to intervene and train children with language delay. If they go to a language rehabilitation institution, they will do two courses: a training class and an introductory class.

A training class is mainly to improve children's cognitive understanding and inspire children to speak. This process is also to develop children's brains. The child doesn't talk, which is just the symptom of the problem. The essence of the problem is that children's brain, nervous system and body coordination ability need to be improved.

Sensory training class is mainly about the whole body movement of children's senses such as vision, hearing, touch, vestibule and proprioception, so as to improve the brain's ability to process sensory information and respond accordingly. In short, it is to enhance the ability of brain and body to coordinate with each other, which will play a very good auxiliary role in improving children's language ability, concentration and body coordination ability.

Now I provide a family daily training table, which can be adjusted according to the child's situation. At the same time, according to the children's recitation, I record the vocabulary I need to master in the table every day, and mark it according to the children's cognitive situation.

Example of daily training content:

Noun: Have a concept of objects and can name them.

Color: Have a concept of color, and can classify the appearance (including size and shape) and different three-dimensional objects.

For example, four main colors are identified.

Identify three basic shapes and geometric shapes.

Mathematical concept:

Language expression:
