What are the requirements for becoming a psychological counselor?

The condition for becoming a psychological counselor is to take the national psychological counselor exam.

I) Grade III psychological counselor (with one of the following conditions)

1. Bachelor degree or above in psychology, education or medicine.

2. Have a college degree in psychology, education and medicine, and have reached the required standard hours after three-level formal training of psychological counselors, and obtained a certificate of completion.

3. Have a bachelor's degree or above in other majors, have reached the required standard hours after three-level formal training of psychological counselors, and have obtained a certificate of completion.

(two) psychological counselor level two (with one of the following conditions)

1. He holds doctorates in psychology, education and medicine.

2. Have a master's degree in psychology, education and medicine, and have reached the required standard hours after the second-level formal training of psychological counselors, and obtained a certificate of completion.

3. Persons who have obtained the third-level professional qualification certificate of psychological counselors, have been engaged in psychological counseling for three years in a row, have reached the required standard hours after the second-level formal training of psychological counselors, and have obtained the certificate of completion.

4. Have professional and technical qualifications in psychology, education, medicine and above, have reached the required standard hours after the second-level formal training of psychological counselors, and have obtained a certificate of completion, and have been engaged in psychological counseling for 3 years in a row.
