I watched the celestial phenomena last night and saw Chang 'e go straight to the chariot. Feel it! The consulting industry is also like heaven, and everyone disturbs it. According to personal experience, it is summarized as follows. I hope everyone has different views and opinions.
I divide the current consultants in Chinese mainland into the following categories:
1. Famous babies are those famous babies, such as MKX, BSD, etc. They are very famous in the consulting field, but basically they have "eaten pork and never seen a pig run". In their view, pigs are birds, not animals. But it doesn't matter. The important thing is that their brand is very big, especially in China. Because most of them are foreign brands, and China people are obsessed with foreign things and obsess about foreign things since ancient times, so they pay money to hire them, thinking that from now on, they will be able to succeed in official career by sticking to foreign style. As we all know, they often come to a bad end and don't know how they died. For example, a computer company, an enterprise that ate foreign crabs long ago, has long since disappeared. The main feature of these famous babies is "petty bourgeoisie". They never get their hands dirty, because in their view, it is the work of migrant workers, and they are above themselves. How can they do that kind of work (specific operational problems)?
2. Pure professors, that is, those who are purely academic, like famous babies, never touch the earth, basically do not eat human fireworks, and most of them are arrogant, extravagant and pretentious. Because they have the title of professor, they are prone to produce truth and big concepts, which are as uncertain and puzzling as air and ghosts. However, it is popular because Chinese people still admire literati in their bones, and because they often have earth-shattering remarks and alarmist skills, even officials, farmers and entrepreneurs can ignore villas, Maotai Wuliangye and beautiful women and think twice. They are among the talents and cannot be underestimated. There are many such people, such as Professor Wolff in Hong Kong, Professor Zhang in Beijing and so on. , all belong to this category.
3. Pure practitioners, pure empiricists. These people belong to farmers in the consulting field, and they can go down the river with their trouser legs to help you catch fish. The most famous workers, such as stealing the column, can also get a consulting fee of $20,000 a day in China, and they are very popular. The reason is that although China people scold devils every day, they are actually afraid and hate, worshiping and helpless. Therefore, an old Japanese devil can be respected as a teacher in China, and he has to be carefully served from top to bottom, which is a unique sight in mainland China. Their mantra is, just do it! Do as I say! Don't ask why!
4. Half a bottle, the so-called half a bottle of water, is what we Shandong people often say, a bottle of discontent, half a bottle of sonorous. The remarkable feature of these people is that they have worked in practical work for several years, and they may also have a background in a well-known enterprise. However, because they are not satisfied with the status quo, there is no hope of promotion in the enterprise. Because they are procrastinating, lonely and unpopular, their boss certainly doesn't like them. So, they left their jobs in anger and then wandered around the society. Although I don't have the courage to rob my family, I still have a few friends and like-minded people, so I can also start a consulting company, trick some fools into spending money, buy some meat and brew some wine, and I live happily. These people are basically homeless. As long as someone gives them money, they can do whatever they want. It's up to you. I'll do whatever you say. Anyway, I'm an asshole.
5. Hitman, commonly known as Global Connect, knows everything and knows nothing. Lectures can be from procurement to sales, from sales to finance, from finance to leadership, execution and so on; Do consulting projects, dare to take any job, nothing is impossible. In short, it is effective everywhere, meaningful everywhere, omniscient, omnipotent and unparalleled. At present, there are many such people in China, and the so-called "big fool" is them except Mr. Zhao and Mr. Fan.
6. Experienced experts. Generally, these people have been practicing and studying things all their lives. Most of them have worked in this industry for many years. Most of them climbed up from the grassroots level, came from famous enterprises and worked as executives. Then start writing books when you are older, or sum up while doing it. They have more practical experience and a certain theoretical height. There are not many such people at present, especially in China, but there are still some, such as Mr. Liu, an expert in supply chain management in China who lives in the United States.
Are there any other types?
Disclaimer: This article is not intended to "attack others to improve themselves", but an objective analysis and a little feeling. If there is any misinterpretation, it is unintentional.
1. Famous babies-many employees, especially those famous companies;
2. Pure professors-the number of professors tends to decrease because they are more ungrounded;
3. Pure practitioners-there are not many people, and most people dare not play, because these people often don't summarize themselves and have a small reputation;
4. Half a bottle-a very large group of people, most of the so-called consultants in China are at this level;
5. Global Connect-There are many training circles for such people, but not many really dare to do projects;
6. Experienced experts-there are not many at present, but with the maturity of the domestic consulting market and the improvement of customer awareness, it will become a trend.
