Library and Information Center Building is a landmark building of Tianjin Normal University, which is divided into four functional areas: A, B, C and D. It is a comprehensive building integrating borrowing, book collection, network, conference and scientific research. Zone A and Zone B mainly focus on the commercial function of the library, with a designed collection of 3 million books and a preset reading seat of 5,000. Among them, Area A is the reading room, which mainly provides periodical reading and electronic reading for teachers and students. The back issue reading room is located on the first floor with 280 reading seats. The current periodical reading room and foreign periodical reading room are located on the third floor, with 590 reading seats; The electronic reading room is located on the first and second floors, with 800 reading seats. Area B is a library for borrowing books, which mainly provides public service space for teachers and students. The first floor is a dense library; There are 14 open-shelf warehouses on floors 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 and 12, with 900 reading seats; The 7th floor is set as a special storage department; The second floor is the main entrance hall, equipped with the main service desk, electronic navigation, electronic newspaper reader, self-service printing and copying service, self-service book lending and returning service, bibliography retrieval and so on. To provide readers with a full range of services. Area C is the network information management center; Zone D is dominated by the conference center.
