Shenshan expressway runs through Shenyang, Anshan, Panjin, Jinzhou and Huludao, starting from expressway North Li Guan Interchange of Shenyang Transit Ring Road in the east, passing through Liaozhong County, taian county, Panshan County, Linghai City, Huludao City, Xingcheng City and Suizhong County, reaching Longjiazhuang in the west, and connecting with Hebei Baodi to Shanhaiguan expressway, with a total length of 3 1km. The project construction is organized by international and domestic public bidding, from Shenyang to Jinzhou 19 1 km, and from Jinzhou to Shanhaiguan170km. The whole project started in June 1997 and was completed and opened to traffic in 2000, including Jinzhou to Shanhaiguan 1999.

The entire line of Shenshan Expressway is planned as 8 lanes and built as 6 lanes, in which the excavation section, extra large bridge, interchange area, service area and main bridge across the bridge are built as 8 lanes at one time. The designed driving speed is 120km, the width of six-lane subgrade is 34.5m (the width of eight-lane subgrade is 42m), and green belts are 5m wide on both sides of subgrade. Communication system, monitoring system, charging system, greening project and main line project are completed at the same time. Main quantities: subgrade earthwork 60.8 million cubic meters, 7 extra-large bridges with 9,697 linear meters, 43 bridges with 8,982 linear meters, medium bridge 1 15 bridges with 7,084 linear meters, small bridge 108 bridges with 25 13 linear meters and culverts with 38/kloc-0.
Shenshan expressway is the largest and highest standard expressway in China.
