Yongding Tower is located in the first line of the green ecological development zone along Yongding River in Fengtai District, southwest Beijing, with a total area of 267 hectares. It is located on Yongding River in the west of Beijing, with a height of 69.7 meters. The cement frame is supplemented by wood structure. August 20 1 1 was officially started, with an octagonal nine-story structure, which is the landmark theme building of Beijing Garden Expo. Located on Eagle Mountain, the building area is about 8,000 square meters, and the appearance is an octagonal nine-story wooden tower with Liao and Jin styles. After completion, visitors can climb to the top of the tower and have a panoramic view of the Expo.
2. Jinxiu Valley
Jinxiu Valley was originally a part of Yongding River bed, which was once used as a sand mining field and later became a construction waste landfill. There is also a large bunker with an area of 65,438+00 hectares and a depth of 30 meters to prepare for the World Expo. Designers use the existing terrain to transform the existing landfill into a sunken landscape garden, taking the essence of the traditional "Eight Scenery of Yanjing" and matching it with Yantai Grand View, Meifeng Qingting, Yuntai Diecui, Yun Fei Xia Qi, Lu Yu Huazhou, Lin Tianxiaying and Caifang Yunjing, which have become the new highlights of the ecological restoration of the Beijing Garden Expo, and perfectly interpret the "decay".
