Unique landscape of haining tide

Qianjiang Tide Watching began in the Tang Dynasty and flourished in the Song Dynasty. Tide watching in Haining has a history of more than 400 years since Ming and Qing Dynasties. In ancient times, Saburo Temple in Jianggan, Hangzhou was the most prosperous. After the Song Dynasty, due to the change of the river course, the best place to watch the tide gradually moved eastward to Haining. Hainingchao is famous at home and abroad for its high tide, changeable, fierce and thrilling. Twice a day, with an interval of 12 hours between day and night, there are more than 150 good days to watch the tide in a year. Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Haining people have always had the traditional custom of watching tides on August 18th of the lunar calendar. On this day, tourists gathered and the sea wall was spectacular. At present, China International Qianjiang (Haining) Tide Watching Festival is held every year on the eighth day of the eighth lunar month. Since Qian Jiangchao was jointly broadcast by CCTV and Zhejiang TV on September 16, 2000, watching tide in Haining has gained great reputation. The "wonder of the world" haining tide has attracted more and more domestic and foreign tourists.

The Haining Tide is also called "qiantang bore Tide", "Qian Jiangchao Tide" and "Zhejiang Tide". The annual Haining Tide in August of the lunar calendar is shown in Figure 2.

August 18 was the most famous one I saw in Salt Officials in Haining. When the tidal bore strikes, the tidal head stands on the wall, and the highest tidal level is more than 9 meters. The formation of tidal bore is mainly caused by celestial gravity and centrifugal force produced when the earth rotates. On the first and fifteenth day of the lunar calendar, celestial bodies are particularly attractive and easy to form a spring tide. The mouth of Qiantang River is trumpet-shaped, with a wide front and a narrow back (the widest part of the mouth is 100 km, but it is only about 3 km to Yan Guan, Haining), and there is a huge flat shoal at the mouth. At this time, the river suddenly contracted, the river bottom rose rapidly, the velocity increased and the energy was highly concentrated. At the same time, blocked by the sandbars in the estuary, the waves pushed forward and blocked back, and collided with the tide coming back in front, which became the trend of "thousands of Dieyun followed suit, but thousands of Chihiro failed to practice".

Edit the formation of this scenic spot

Haining tide is magnificent, which is due to the attraction of the sun and the moon to the earth and the special horn sound of Hangzhou Bay.

Formed by shape. When the moon faces the earth, the gravitational force generated by the moon lifts the seawater and forms a tidal bore. When the moon turns away from the earth, the centrifugal force of the earth's rotation is greater than the gravity, which makes the sea water swell again. Coupled with the gravity of the sun, the spring tide days of the first and fifteenth days of the lunar calendar are formed. Due to the friction between tides and rivers, the maximum tidal bore day is generally delayed by two to three days, so the tides are the largest on the third and eighteenth days. In addition, when the tidal wave energy is getting bigger and bigger and reaches Haining, a unique tidal bore phenomenon is formed. Tide-watching in Haining flourished in the Ming Dynasty, with a history of 400 years. Yan Guan Tower is Yan Guan Tower.

Line tide is famous. In recent years, with the reclamation of tidal flats and the deposition of quicksand in Qiantang River. During the Tang and Song Dynasties, the tides in Hangzhou were the most spectacular. After the mid-Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty, the river channel in Beimen was stable, and the river tide surged northward, so Yan Guan became a unique tide-watching resort. Qian Jiangchao is an ancient miracle, which was famous in Qin, Han and Jin Dynasties. Zhuangzi, Meicheng and Gu Kaizhi vividly described Jiang Chao. During the Tang and Song Dynasties, Li Bai, Meng Haoran, Bai Juyi, Liu Yuxi, Fan Zhongyan, Su Shi and Xin Qiji all wrote beautiful poems for Qian Jiangchao. In Ming Dynasty, Feng Menglong listed "Qiantang River Tide" as one of the "four wonders in the world". There are countless poems about watching the tide in modern times. For example, Kang Youwei wrote in his poem: "Who looks forward to the great mountains and rivers, and the sound of waves breaks the tide in Zhejiang!" After a generation of poet Su Dongdu helped mulberry, he also lamented, "When will I return to Zhechao?" . Tide watching began in the Tang Dynasty and flourished after the Southern Song Dynasty. At that time, there was an activity to review the water army. According to the Tang Dynasty's Records of Yuanhe County, "Every August 18th, hundreds of Lishi women go to see it. The boatman and fisherman touch the waves, which is called making waves. " In Haining, August 18 is also the birthday of Chaoshen. According to legend, Wu Zikan and Wen Zi were wronged for their loyalty to the country, and after their death, * * * became the tide gods. Since the Qing dynasty, salt officials have been watching the tide for a long time, and the emperor Qianlong of the Qing dynasty has come here many times to watch the tide and compose poems. There used to be a grand view building next to zhenhai tower outside the salt official Xichun Gate. On August 18 every year, local officials prepare three incense sticks to celebrate Soong Ching Ling.

Sacrifice here is called "Sacrifice Tide". In the 5th year of the Republic of China (19 16), on August/8 of the lunar calendar, Sun Yat-sen, his wife Soong Ching Ling, Chiang Kai-shek and others made a special trip to Yan Guan to watch the tide, and wrote the inscription "The tide is surging like a tide". 1spring of 954,1September of 957,11(August18th), Mao Zedong went to Qili Temple in Yan Guan twice to watch the tide and write poems. Zhu De and other party and state leaders also visited the salt officials and watched the August tide. 1969, Haining county government allocated funds to build tide-watching stone steps with a length of more than 500 meters and a width of 3 meters on the seawall from Xiaoputuo in the east to the south of the original Zhenhai Gate (commonly known as the South Gate) in the west. 1982 to 1983, there are two tidal observation stations on the west side of Zhenhai tower, which can accommodate more than a thousand people. Before and after the Mid-Autumn Festival, hundreds of thousands of tourists gathered in salt officials, and the crowds surged. The tourism department launched a special tour of "One Tide and Three Views", and watched the collision between the east and south tidal heads in Ding Qiao, 8 kilometers east of Yan Guan, setting off a spectacular scene of 10,000 icebergs; Then I went to Yan to watch the "First Wave of Haining Pagoda", where the silver waves rolled and followed. Zaota, Zhongshan Pavilion and Tianfeng Haitao Pavilion are the best places to watch this scene. Finally, we rushed to the T-dam in the middle of the old Yancang River at1/km west of Yan Guan to watch the famous "resurgence". When the tidal head hit the dam and rushed to the top of the pond on the 18 stone steps, the surging waves were hit and smashed into showers. These three scenic spots are open from east to west within 20 kilometers. As long as you master the speed of the tide head (about 25 kilometers per hour), you can control the timing of tide watching. In addition, watching the tide under the moon at night is the same as during the day, but the scenery is different and interesting. Eight castles "meet the tide", Ssangyong sumo, and the sky falls apart; Yan Guan's "First-line Tide" practices river white, and Taoshan sprays snow; The "resurgence" dragon of the old salt warehouse unlocked and roared back; And watching the tide in the middle of the night is the moon shadow and the silver wave. It's amazing to see four scenes in one tide. The eighth day of the eighth lunar month is a traditional tide-watching festival that has been passed down for thousands of years. On this day every year, hundreds of thousands of guests from home and abroad gather in Haining, a tidal resort. In addition to Yan Guan, which is the first tidal scenic spot, Daxia, which is 10 km east of Yan Guan, and the old salt warehouse of Yanguanxi 11th Company have also become hot spots for tidal observation. As long as you master the tidal bore speed (about 25 kilometers per hour), you can feast your eyes on driving after the tidal bore.

folklore

The reason why the tide in Haining is so big is that Wu Zixu, a doctor of the State of Wu, was furious and rode on Wu Zixu.

Cars roared in Qiantang River. And how did the tidal bore of Qianjiang come into being? Starting with Yu Chong, a philosopher in the Eastern Han Dynasty. People began to look for scientific answers. According to the research of modern scientists, besides the sun, the moon and the earth are all in a straight line at this time, there are also unique reasons-the topographic influence of Hangzhou Bay and Qiantang River. The mouth of Qiantang River is trumpet-shaped, with a big mouth and a small body. At high tide, seawater rushes out from the estuary with a width of 100 km, and reaches Yan Guan in Haining less than 3 km, but at this time, the river tide advances at a speed of 10 m per second. As the banks gradually narrowed, the water level in the bay rose rapidly and tidal bore appeared. At this time, the water flowing out of Qiantang River is not easy to leak because it is blocked by the tide, but it raises the water level in the bay and strengthens the tidal potential. In addition, the southeast wind is often blowing along the coast of Zhejiang in summer and autumn, and the wind direction is roughly the same as the tide, which also contributes to the tide momentum. The tidal head is shaped like a vertical wall, from which the world-famous haining tide is formed. "The early tide only comes after the late tide, and it flows 60 times a week in January." Tidal waves in Haining are twice a day, called tidal waves during the day and sunseeker at night, with an interval of 12 hours. The meridian tide cycle lasts for half a month on the first and fifteenth day of the lunar calendar, with the highest tidal head reaching 3.5 meters and the tidal range reaching 8-9 meters, especially from the first day to the fifth day of the lunar calendar, from 15 to 20, so there are 120 good days to watch the tide in a year. "Haining can watch the tide every day.

Optimum position

The best place to watch the tide in Haining is the tide pavilion under the sea tower in Zhenhai Town, Yan Guan, Haining City. Here you can see the magnificent scene of the "first wave pagoda". Before the tidal bore came, Qiantang River was calm and vast. But see the boundless river, autumn water * * * the sky. At the beginning of the river tide, it suddenly began to rain in Mao Mao in the eastern sky, and a long silver line appeared in the distance as far as I could see. The silver line is getting thicker and closer, and it has become a white practice lying across the river. The sound of showers is getting louder and louder, and it has become the sound of pouring rain, rolling like a muffled thunder. Then, as the tide head approaches, the sea water crosses and the river surges, and thousands of hectares of waves instantly become a water wall several meters high. The sound of the tide is shocking. When braking, the tidal peak roared past my eyes and went west. Besides Yan Guan, it is the first scenic spot for tide watching. Babao, Dakou, Longtoujiao, 8 km east of Yan Guan, and the old salt warehouse 1 1 km west of Yan Guan have also become hot spots for tide watching. As long as you master the tidal bore speed (about 25 kilometers per hour), you can feast your eyes on driving. At the Babel seawall, it is thrilling to see the "meeting tide" of Babel. The east tide and the south tide meet, the Ssangyong sumo wrestles, the sky collapses and the tides overlap into icebergs and snow peaks. There is a T-shaped dam 9 meters high and 650 meters long in the old Yanchang area. When the river tide came here and stormed the T-shaped dam, there was a thunderbolt, like a dragon unlocking, roaring back, and the tide head suddenly stood up, just visible and pounced on the fish scale stone pond on the 18-story stone steps, and suddenly a silver rainstorm rose, soaring into the sky, which was really thrilling, and was called "back tide"; And watching the tide in the middle of the night is the moon shadow and the silver wave. It's amazing to see four scenes in one tide. Su Song Dongpo praised: "August 18th tide is spectacular." Hainingchao is a spectacular natural dynamic spectacle, and it is also called "Four Wonders of the World" with "Leizhou Drum Changing", "Guangde Burial" and "Dengzhou Haicheng". The river tide came from the east, like a silver line, and gradually "Yucheng came from the snow-capped mountains, and the sound was like thunder, shocking and lashing, swallowing the sky and swallowing the sun, with great power."

Yixianchao

You can see the most spectacular Haining Tide in the Tide Watching Holiday Park in Yan Guan Town of Qiantang River. The tide is close to Yan Guan Pagoda, forming a spectacular "first-line tide of Yan Guan Pagoda". "The tide in Haining, swept by the world, neatly covered the east Yin Tao of Haining and crossed the west of Haichang.

It's uneven for miles ... whenever the Mid-Autumn Festival floods, Chinese and foreign people come to watch it. Therefore, salt officials have been watching the tide since ancient times. In addition, climbing the Aota to watch the tide is another major feature of Haining.

Huitouchao

After the Shanghai-Nanjing Tide merged from Babao, it continued to flow westward through Yan Guan. Along the way, the momentum gradually weakened. When the tidal bore went westward to the old salt warehouse at 1 1 km west of Yan Guan, the vertical tidal bore turned back due to the blocking of the Hengjiang Dam, forming a peculiar tidal bore. At this time, the river surged forward, rolled up and down and rushed forward.

Midnight tide

Mid-Autumn Festival tide watching is a traditional folk tourism activity, and the combination of tide watching and moon viewing has become a unique scenery in Haining. The best place to watch the night tide of 100 thousand soldiers is in the area of Tianfeng Haitao Pavilion, which is "enjoying the moon in the wind". It attracts tourists with its romantic and unique mood. Su Dongpo, a poet in the Northern Song Dynasty, also wrote such a poem: "I know that the Jade Rabbit is round, and it has been frosted in September; The message is to close the door and turn off the key, so that you can see it in the tide at night. In addition to tide watching, Haining can also visit places of interest in Yan Guan Town: zhenhai tower, Zhongshan Pavilion, Wutai Pavilion, Sea Temple, the former residence of Chen Ge in Qing Dynasty, and the former residence of Wang Guowei.
