Creative background:
In October of the 12th year of Emperor Gaozu (before 196), Ying Bu, king of Huainan, rose up against Han, and Liu Bang personally went out to defeat Ying Bu. On his way back to the army, Liu Bang stopped by his hometown Pei County (now Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province), invited his former friends and elders and drank wine together for more than ten days. One day, when he was drunk, Liu Bang sang while hammering and improvised this song "Song of the Strong Wind".

This poem has only three sentences. The first two sentences are straightforward and heroic, but the third sentence suddenly reveals anxiety about the uncertain future and expresses the author's deep sorrow for the country's instability.

Liu Bang (256 BC-65438 BC+095 BC) was born in Fengyi Li Zhongyang, Pei County (now Li Zhongyang Street, Fengxian County, Jiangsu Province). An outstanding politician, strategist and military commander in China history, the founding emperor of the Han Dynasty, and one of the great pioneers of the Han nationality and culture, he made outstanding contributions to the development of the Han nationality and the reunification of China.
