Ma Bo, pen name Laogui (nickname when jumping the queue), was born in Hebei in 1947, and graduated from high school in 1966. 1968 went to Xilin Gol League in Inner Mongolia and settled in line. 1976 left the grassland to work as a worker in Shanxi Datong mining machinery factory. /kloc-0 was admitted to the journalism department of Chinese Department of Peking University at the end of September 1977. 1982 graduated from university, and worked in literature and art publishing house and legal daily newspaper successively.
