Are Jingxin Expressway and Lianhuo Expressway the same road?

It's not a highway, but Jingxin Expressway is a brand-new expressway.

The Beijing-Xinjiang Expressway has a total length of more than 2,800 kilometers and passes through six provinces: Beijing, Hebei, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Gansu and Xinjiang. The total length of Beijing-Xinjiang Expressway from Wutong Daquan to Rem is about 5 15 km. The project section is led by China Railway Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd. and jointly built by China Railway First Hospital and other units.

Longxing, general manager of China Railway Construction Xinjiang Jingxin Expressway Co., Ltd. introduced that the project section crosses complex terrain such as desert, Gobi, grassland, wetland and mountain, with more extreme weather. The construction team overcame the harsh construction conditions such as high temperature, severe cold and sandstorm, and completed the construction ahead of schedule. In the process of design and construction, relevant units have given consideration to ecological environment protection and local economic development.

Wang Xiaozhi, chief designer of Jingxin Expressway in China Railway No.1 Hospital, said that in order to facilitate animal migration in relevant areas, the construction party designed 62 animal migration passages, including two railway bridges at the top, an animal migration passage in the middle and an expressway at the bottom.

Jingxin Expressway is the second all-weather highway artery in and out of Xinjiang after Lianhuo Expressway. Its opening to traffic shortened the highway mileage from Beijing to Urumqi by 65,438+0,300 kilometers. Jingxin Expressway is also the fastest sea passage from Horgos Port to the north of Tianjin Port, which is of great significance to promoting the construction of the Belt and Road.
