Shen-Kang Expressway-Brief Introduction of Highway

Shenkang Expressway is located in Faku County and Kangping County of Shenyang City, starting from Yiniubaozi Township of Faku County (the intersection of Shenming Line and Provincial Xinli Line) and ending at Dongsanhebao in the north of Kangping County. The project started construction in July 2007, and the whole line was built according to the standard of two-way four-lane expressway, with a design speed of 100 km.

Shenkang Expressway-Highway Construction

On September 22nd, 2009, Shenkang Expressway was opened to traffic. As one of the important connecting lines of the national expressway network and an important part of the expressway network in Liaoning Province, Shenkang Expressway starts from the East Square of Shenbei New District in the south and ends at Sanhebao Village in Kangping East in the north, with a total length of 92.2 kilometers. It is constructed in two phases, one of which started in 2007. At the junction of Heerhai Village and Huaniubaozi Village, it meets the newly-built railway expressway in central Liaoning (Xinmin-Tieling section expressway) to form a hub interchange, which is connected with the first phase of Shenkang Project in Dalang East Village. The completion of Shenkang Expressway will not only provide fast, convenient and comfortable traffic conditions for the rapid development of Faku economy, but also greatly shorten the time and space distance between Faku County and Shenyang City.
