Changzhou Institute of Information Technology, referred to as "Changxinyuan", was founded in 1962. Approved by Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, it is a full-time higher vocational college formed by the merger of Changzhou Radio Industry School and Changzhou University of Electronic Workers. It belongs to Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and is one of the 100 national demonstration higher vocational colleges. It is also the first and only national demonstration information vocational college in Jiangsu Province.
