Association is a regional non-profit joint social organization voluntarily composed of enterprises, economic organizations, groups and individuals engaged in foreign economic and trade exchanges with ASEAN countries.
The purpose of the Association is to abide by the Constitution, laws, regulations and policies of People's Republic of China (PRC), observe social ethics, proceed from the overall and long-term interests of its members, carry out academic research and exchanges on economic and trade theories between Yunnan and ASEAN, strengthen economic and trade exchanges and cooperation with relevant departments and industries of ASEAN governments, give play to the role of a bridge and link between various industry organizations and enterprises in Yunnan and ASEAN countries, and promote the economic and production development of all parties.
Business scope of the Association:
(1) To carry out academic research and exchange on economic and trade theories between Yunnan and ASEAN, collect and sort out information on economic development strategy, economic system reform, economic and industrial policies and structure, economic development trend and market dynamics between Yunnan and ASEAN, and provide advisory services on economic and trade investment policies and relevant laws between China and ASEAN for members;
(2) Strengthen the cooperation between Yunnan and relevant functional departments, enterprises and units of ASEAN countries in various forms, and promote the cooperation and exchanges between Yunnan and ASEAN countries in investment promotion, achievement transfer, project bidding and project contracting;
(3) Organizing members to go to ASEAN countries to carry out business visits, project evaluation, enterprise promotion, cultural exchanges and other activities, and providing consulting and related services for enterprises and economic organizations from ASEAN countries to carry out business visits, exhibitions, economic and trade negotiations and technical and cultural exchanges in China;
(4) Holding economic and trade seminars and exhibitions between Yunnan and ASEAN countries, and providing business information consultation, business training and translation services for the languages of ASEAN countries;
(five) to coordinate the relationship between the members of Yunnan ASEAN countries and the relevant departments to carry out economic activities and help solve relevant economic and trade problems;
(six) to strengthen cooperation and exchanges between members, communicate the contact between members and the government, serve members, and undertake the work entrusted by the government.
