Tour guide words of Chaozhou Guangji Bridge

Good morning!

Many places in China are famous for "Guangji Bridge", among which Guangji Bridge in Chaozhou, Guangdong is the most famous. Chaozhou Guangji Bridge, commonly known as Xiangzi Bridge, is located outside the East Gate of Chaozhou, which is the main traffic artery between Fujian and Guangdong in ancient times. Together with Zhao Zhouqiao, Luoyang Bridge and Lugou Bridge, it is called "Four Ancient Bridges in China" and is the first retractable pontoon bridge in China.

Guangji Bridge outside the East Gate of Chaozhou City is located on the rolling Hanjiang River, with Bijia Mountain in the east, the East Gate of downtown in the west, Phoenix Island in the south and Jinguangji Bridge in the north.

Guangji Bridge, with its unique style of "eighteen shuttles and twenty-four continents", is called the four ancient bridges in China together with Zhao Zhouqiao, Luoyang Bridge and Lugou Bridge. It was once praised by Mao Yisheng, a famous bridge expert, as "the earliest opening and closing bridge in the world".

There is a folk song: "Chaozhou Xiangqiao is very romantic, with 24 terraces on 24 continents 18 boat, and two animals, Niu Yi, only slip".
