A Weilai ES8 made by Huaxia Express dares to sell for 800,000 yuan. Is it a gimmick or a veritable one?

Gaohe HiPhi is a luxury intelligent pure electric brand owned by Chinese Express, which is an innovative travel technology company founded by Ding Lei, former general manager of SAIC-GM, on 20 17. Although the company was founded only three or three years ago, the Gaohe brand celebrated its first birthday in July this year, but the first mass-produced automobile product, Gaohe HiPhiX, which was originally scheduled to be listed on 202 1, met with the consumer market six months in advance. Compared with Audi e-tron and Weilai ES8, Gaohe HiPhiX, which debuted this time, has a very special identity, that is, cross-border. The high-tech HIX built in the open electronic and electrical architecture of HOA reminds us of Toyota's C-HR in the small SUV market from the vehicle structure. The line structure of the whole car is very exaggerated, and the low height of the car body enables this car to maintain a low drag coefficient, which is close to the popular coupe market. On the front of the car, we can easily see that whether HIX is a long-overdue work or not, whether it is the traditional engine compartment structure, or the shaping of the lamp group and the air hole interval, there will be a very obvious sense of familiarity. However, judging from the undulating lines and three-dimensional structure on the body panel, if nothing else, at least Gaohe HiPhi does have a good stamping process level now. However, as far as the details of this process are concerned, it is still a big question mark as to what level HOA open electronic and electrical architecture made by Dongfeng Da Yue Kia can reach. Gaohe claims to have created a brand-new technical concept on this crossover SUV, one of which is the NoTouch wing door of the vehicle. This kind of door structure is neither a gull-wing door, which was once called a suicide door, nor a side-sliding door, but a unilateral combination door. The cockpit door is operated according to the traditional opening mode, but the rear seat door is opened in two directions by opening 8 1 and lifting 80, which will make passengers in and out completely worry about encountering it. In terms of other functions, Gaohe HiPhi claims that this medium and large SUV is equipped with more than 500 sensors, and at the same time equipped with 5G mobile communication technology and V2X vehicle wireless communication technology, which is also the first mass production model in China to realize both communication technologies at the same time. At the same time, due to the addition of more than 500 sensors, the vehicle has L3 autonomous driving technology beyond Audi e-tron, but whether it can reach TES ModelX level remains to be tested. As for the core assembly, HEHIX adopts a dual-motor layout in terms of power. Two motors with power parameters of 200kW(272Ps)/4 10Nm (comprehensive power/torque of 440kW/820Nm) have already surpassed Weilai ES8 in data. With the electric four-wheel drive system, HEHIX can complete 0-60 in 3.9 seconds. At present, Gaohe HiPhiX does have the most amazing stunt in the domestic automobile market, and a series of realized black technologies are threatening Weilai's position from the technical level. However, the price as high as 680,000 yuan (the four-seat version is as high as 800,000 yuan) may eventually make it rank lower in the fields of technology and performance. It may be just a dream for Gaohe HiPhiX to really sell sales.
