Yue Xiaodong (2004). Friends with Truth, Shanghai People's Publishing House. From 65438 to 0997, Xie Guozhong, the former chief economist of Morgan Stanley Asia Pacific, predicted that the property market in Hong Kong would decline. A few months later, the property market in Hong Kong really collapsed. Unfortunately, although Yue Xiaodong is a doctor of psychology at Harvard, he doesn't know much about economics. Like the general public, he was blindly enthusiastic about the increasingly hot property market at that time. "At that time, when a building came out, there were piles of people waiting in line for the equal sign. Those who ranked the number had to draw lots, and only those who drew the number could buy it." Yue Xiaodong, who had worked in Hongkong for several years and had some savings, took part in a numbering operation in a daze. Unexpectedly (more unfortunately), he was selected that time, which was enviable super luck at that time. There was no reason not to buy it, so he bought it, paid the down payment and borrowed the rest from the bank. For a senior professional man like him, whether living in his own house or waiting for appreciation, buying a building is not too much of a burden.

However, the words of economic authority came true, and the property market in Hong Kong collapsed unwillingly. Yue Xiaodong still doesn't know why he threw away the uncompleted residential flats and still owes money to the bank. In short, people can't force the situation, and the situation is always compelling. The property market will recover in the future. In order to avoid greater losses, throwing away is the only way, and there is no reason not to throw away. So, he threw it away, the house was taken back, and he still owed the bank a small sum of money. For this, I was blamed by my family. "You went to college for nothing and learned so much knowledge for nothing!" Yue Xiaodong simulated the accusations of his family, and then added with his own grievances: "I didn't study economics!"

It is heartbreaking to say that Yue Xiaodong lost more than 2 million yuan by giving the blame to his family, and every critical moment will be carried out by his family, but compared with another thing, it is not a big setback. As a doctor of psychology, he is engaged in a career that is said to be the closest to human mind. He has analyzed countless subtle human nature and helped countless people out of trouble, but he cannot have a satisfactory father-son relationship. This is a great pity.

Yue Xiaodong took photos with her children, an elder sister and a younger brother. The little boy with black hair has a clear facial outline and stubborn eyes, just like his father. The four-year-old child in the photo is now a junior high school student. "I have no authority at home." When Yue Xiaodong talked about this problem, there was always a hint of self-mockery on his face, and he let out a sigh from his chest. "This is my biggest confusion."

Outside, he is an eloquent scholar and an authority on analyzing human psychology. His humorous, calm and relaxed behavior can infect many people, but when he gets home, his martial arts are all wasted. Because he studies psychology, understands children's psychological process, pays attention to democracy at ordinary times, and has a gentle way of discipline, and wants to cultivate children's self-discipline. He doesn't want to be China's "strict father" in the traditional sense. He wants to influence his son imperceptibly, enlighten him ideologically and consciously, and hope to get his son's worship and attention and become his mentor. Unfortunately, these seemingly very good practices have not achieved good results. In the eyes of his son, he may just be a busy and hurried father, and the occasional gentle words don't carry much weight.

"Relationship decision is incompetent." This is Yue Xiaodong's painful conclusion. "So I advocate' cross-education' and' easy education'. Find a godfather godmother for your child, and everyone educates other children. "

Speaking of his "Ziyi Theory", Yue Xiaodong was very excited. "Really, my educational theory is reasonable. There are three principles. One is that distance produces beauty, the other is that respect is power, and the third is that the power of example is infinite. " Yue Xiaodong is studying "humor" and wants to launch a nationwide humor campaign. He is the only person from Chinese mainland in an international humor society that none of us have heard of. China people are not short of humor, he said. The unique sense of humor of Laozi, Zhuangzi, Su Dongpo, Lin Yutang and China people in ancient times has continued vaguely in the context of mainstream culture. However, in modern China, perhaps the heavy and painful modern history made us suppress silence, or perhaps the rapid economic development made the materialized wave sweep people's hearts, and China people became humorless.

The earliest humorous enlightenment that rose to the level of consciousness can be traced back to the summer of 198 1. Yue Xiaodong was a junior intern at that time, accompanying an American tour group. The weather is very hot, and everyone is very uncomfortable. Some people suggest swimming to cool down. Yue Xiaodong volunteered to find a swimming pool in that strange town. Unexpectedly, the swimming pool was found, but there was no water. He reported the news to the captain in dismay. The colonel called everyone together and announced, "Now there is good news and bad news." Everyone is looking forward to, "Good news, the swimming pool has been found! The bad news is that there is no water in the swimming pool ... "Young Yue Xiaodong appreciates the unique power of humor from everyone's laughter, which can disintegrate fatigue and embarrassment and gain self-mockery and relief from absurd situations.

Today, Yue Xiaodong has become one of the most humorous people. In the lecture, he humorously said that he bought the original shares when he chose psychological counseling. "This original stock has now multiplied several times and become a blue chip." He called on everyone to participate in this cause that is beneficial to the people and society, saying that this is an industry that can at least' protect capital', what is' protect capital', and that' learning psychological counseling can at least help yourself first'. He also improvised a pair of his own couplets to enhance the effect.' Early awakening and late awakening will make you realize sooner or later, and you will enter the industry first and then enter the industry successively', which caused a knowing laugh. He also made the PPT of the lecture himself. With simple handouts, I collected some interesting pictures, exaggerated cartoons, hand-painted image sketches, famous psychological picture-in-picture, and even made a composite photo of my own image and the image of leader Mao Zedong ... Every picture was displayed in his humorous explanation, even in his smiling and silent expression, which aroused the laughter and applause of the audience.

People who have listened to Yue Xiaodong's lectures will probably realize that he is a humorous person in the end. Based on his rich knowledge, Yue Xiaodong skillfully used various methods such as innuendo, allegory, pun, good-natured teasing and self-mockery. Through every lecture, every workshop and every book, he constructed his own unique humorous temperament and practiced his own humorous ideas.

Humor, transliterated from the English word humor, was invented by Lin Yutang, who believed that "humor is between banter and seriousness". In aesthetic and psychological concepts, humor refers to "the ability to make people laugh or feel interesting". Humor is a kind of dispelling power, dispelling absurdity and heaviness in life, but it is by no means straightforward and superficial. Humor is a kind of life wisdom, which makes people live more optimistic and open-minded

Yue Xiaodong said that there is a deep relationship between humor and psychological counseling, and there is "laughter therapy" abroad. At that time, crosstalk master Hou proposed "laughter therapy". "It's a pity that he doesn't understand psychological knowledge and didn't succeed." Now, "I will take over the banner of Harvard alumnus Lin Yutang and continue to fool the' humor' policy." What is a "humor insurance policy"? Yue Xiaodong is very proud of his innovative statement. "The ancients said, laughing for less than ten years, buying a life insurance can guarantee a sense of security. However, my humor insurance policy is extremely cheap. If you spend some money to buy some humorous books and share them with others, you will naturally live longer. "

Now Yue Xiaodong is committed to integrating the concept of humor into life and making it operational. He is ambitiously planning to open a humor studio. "I thought of the slogan,' A day's humor study, a lifetime's humor enjoyment'! Humor is a potential development, and coming to my humor workshop can activate your humor cells. "

Before the national ideal humor movement, Yue Xiaodong had already started a small-scale "guerrilla war" in a premeditated way, and gradually infiltrated his thoughts into public life.
