Fei Ying Tower, commonly known as Pagoda, is located in the south of Baota Village, Maqiu Town, Nanchang High-tech Zone (formerly Nanchang County), and in the south of Chen Yi Memorial Primary School, a key cultural relic protection unit in Jiangxi Province.
Nanchang Fei Ying Tower was built in the first year of Ming Dynasty (162 1), which is a pavilion-style masonry building. The tower foundation of Weiying Iron Tower faces south, and the plane is hexagonal. The measured length of each side of the bottom floor is 3.2 meters, and the tower foundation is built with rectangular red sandstone. This tower has seven floors, with blue slate between them. There are brick steps in the tower, which can be rotated and climbed to the top floor from the inside out. Brick eaves have five floors, with a total height of 35 meters. On the front of the third floor, there is a tower monument: the right book "Dragonfly Apocalypse, Heart has Hitachi in the first month of the first year", engraved with the word "Fei Ying Tower", Zuo Shu's "University of Dongge Guiwei didn't win the top prize", and Zhu Guozhuo inscribed "Xichuan Zuofanbo Bing Xu Huihe Zhou Zhu Dingjian". On the left side of the original tower was the Tang Jian 'an Hall, which was destroyed in the early years. During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, the Japanese army bombarded with mortars, leaving three bullet marks so far, and each layer of the green slate was smashed to pieces. The tower of the famous English tower is also obviously tilted.
