Shanghai Jianqiao College, located in Lingang New District of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone, is a full-time private university focusing on undergraduate education and cultivating high-quality applied talents in production, technology, service and management. The full name of the school is Shanghai Jianqiao College Limited Liability Company.
The school was founded on 1999 by a group of entrepreneurs who are enthusiastic about education and public welfare, such as Zhou Xingzeng, and was officially registered in June of the following year.
In April of 20001year, the school was approved as "Private Shanghai Jianqiao Vocational and Technical College"; In August 2003, the school was renamed as "Shanghai Jianqiao Vocational and Technical College", and in the same year it was listed as one of the1/model higher vocational colleges in Shanghai.
