Public rental housing refers to the affordable housing provided by the state with policy support, limited construction standards and rent levels, and rented for families with housing difficulties with lower-middle income in cities and towns, newly employed workers without housing and migrant workers with stable employment in cities and towns.

The procedures for applying for public rental housing are as follows:

1. Acceptance: if the application materials are complete, it will be accepted at the application site and an acceptance certificate will be issued;

2. Preliminary examination: The preliminary examination institution shall complete the preliminary examination within 20 working days from the date of accepting the application at the application point, and put forward preliminary examination opinions. Those who pass the preliminary examination shall be submitted to the Municipal Public Rental Housing Authority for review; Inform the applicant in writing of the unqualified and explain the reasons;

3. Re-examination: The Municipal Public Rental Housing Administration shall put forward its re-examination opinions within 7 working days from the date of receiving the preliminary examination materials. Qualified publicity; Inform the applicant in writing of the unqualified and explain the reasons;

4. Publicity: Applicants who have passed the review will be publicized on the municipal public rental housing information network, including income, housing and other related information, and the publicity time will not be less than 7 working days. If there is any objection to the publicity object, the Municipal Public Rental Housing Authority will accept the real-name report and complete the verification within 10 working days. If the objection is established after verification, it shall inform the applicant in writing and explain the reasons; ;

5. Waiting list: If there is no objection or the objection is not established after publicity, the applicant can enter the waiting list, and the applicant can inquire at the public rental housing information network or the application point.

To apply for public rental housing, the following conditions shall be met:

(a) there is no room in the local area or the housing area is lower than the prescribed standard;

(two) the income and property are lower than the prescribed standards;

(3) If the applicant is a migrant worker, he has been employed stably in the local area for a specified number of years.

The specific conditions shall be determined by the housing security department of the municipality directly under the central government and the people's governments at the city and county levels according to the actual situation in the region, and shall be implemented and announced to the public after being approved by the people's governments at the corresponding levels.
