Research and development of liquid culture technology and equipment for edible fungi

For a long time, China's edible fungi industry has been using solid strains to cultivate various fresh mushrooms, which generally has the disadvantages of long production cycle and easy aging. The emergence of liquid culture technology can not only solve practical problems, but also reduce the production cost and shorten the culture time 1/3- 1/2, but the biggest problem is that the output is unstable and easy to pollute, and people are afraid to use it. Our studio will focus on solving the problem of aquaculture pollution, research and develop supporting simple equipment, so that farmers can afford and use it well, and promote the technological upgrading and industrial development of edible fungi. Research and Development of New Low-carbon Edible Fungi Substrate Based on Crop Straw

Straw is the main by-product of crops. The annual output in China is about 600 million tons, and the utilization rate is less than 40%. In some places, straw burning is serious, which not only wastes resources, but also pollutes the environment and even affects civil aviation flight and road traffic safety. Governments at all levels attach great importance to the utilization of straw, and Zhenjiang Municipal Government listed the comprehensive utilization of straw as one of the six practical projects for the people in 2009.

Straw is organic waste, and cultivating edible fungi is a good way to make use of it. It can not only transform inedible crop stalks into fresh mushrooms with rich nutrition and delicious taste, but also reduce environmental pollution and turn waste into treasure.

In this studio, the nutritional components of straw will be analyzed, and the comprehensive formula of culture medium will be developed by using organic wastes such as cassava residue, vinegar residue and reed powder, focusing on exploring the key technologies and equipment for straw mushroom cultivation.
