Ziya New River starts from the spillway gate of xian county Hub in Hebei Province (the junction of Hutuo River and Fuyang River in xian county), crosses the South Canal and Jinpu Railway eastward, and enters the sea through Jinghai at Haikou Hub between the old and new Mapengkou in Peking University Port, with a total length of143.35km.. Ziyaxin River is a compound river bed, with deep grooves on the left bank and shallow grooves on the right bank, mainly flooding.
The designed flow is 6000m3/s and the checked flow is 9000m3/s, which is equivalent to 1 1 ~ 12 times of Ziya River. Its tail has only one section in Tianjin, which is 29 kilometers long.
In order to ensure the safety of Tianjin in flood season, the north embankment is 1 m higher than the south embankment. In non-flood season, the upstream incoming water is discharged from the flood gate through Ziya River, and when the incoming water is more than 600 cubic meters per second, the flood is discharged from the beach. The tailgate is equipped with the flood gate of the main channel, and the beach is equipped with 1 tidal weir for flood discharge. There are 3 culverts and 3 pumping stations in China.
Ziyaxin River flows through xian county, Hejian, Dacheng, Qingxian, Huanghua and other counties in Hebei Province, and joins the Bohai Sea at Mapengkou, Dagang District, Tianjin, with a total length of 144km. The supporting project of Ziya New River, which runs in parallel with the new river next to the right dike, has a total length of 143.30km, a catchment area of 1328 km2, and a design flow of 500 m3/s, which can meet the drainage standard of five-year drainage in the river basin and accept part of the south drainage river in Heilonggang area. Xian county Hub includes three parts: flood intake sluice, flood intake weir and Ziya River control sluice.
The flood gate is near the left side of Ziyaxin River, with a designed flow of 943 cubic meters per second and a checked flow of 1 130 cubic meters per second. The flood intake weir is located in the newly flooded area, with a design flow of 5050 m3/s, a check flow of 7870 m3/s, a weir height of 1.0m and a weir length of1000m. ; The sluice is located on Ziya River, which controls the flow of Ziya River. The designed flow is 600 cubic meters per second.
