Why was there a "novel" aesthetic atmosphere in the late Ming Dynasty?

Novelty and fashion have a long history in China's ancient literary tradition. From ancient fables to novels in Ming and Qing Dynasties, we can find many examples in this respect. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the connotation of "seeking novelty" changed, and the center of gravity moved down, and daily life entered the creator's field of vision. Li Zhi, Gong 'an Sanyuan, Feng Menglong, Ling Mengchu and Li Yu are all practitioners. In the process of novel creation and practice, Li Yu borrowed some characteristics of China's traditional opera creation (especially "strangeness") and formed a unique aesthetic style.
