1. The goal of decision-making consultation can be set as: find the card point through consultation, and help visitors make better decisions after consultation (instead of giving advice directly by the consultant). When setting consulting goals, keep in mind the PIGS principle. The goal of consultation is to serve the needs of visitors, not the needs of consultants themselves.
2. This case is a decision+positioning problem. Read the mind map of decision-making consultation methodology several times. If you are unfamiliar, print it out and refer to the steps (deliberate practice).
3. When perceiving that the visitor prefers an option, the counselor does not give the visitor directional language guidance, but makes a mirror, lists the advantages and disadvantages of various options, and tells the visitor what the counselor sees: "You took XX action on option A, and you are mostly thinking about option B. What do you think?" Let tourists be aware and think.
4. Make a closed loop at the end of the consultation, for example, ask the visitors whether our consultation goal has been achieved today. How clear is it? What are the differences (information layer, technology layer, belief layer, what is missing and what is supplemented), which is conducive to measuring the degree of achievement of consulting objectives.
5. Facing the visitors who want to start a business, look at it in stages: when they are young, they want to start a business, and when they are middle-aged, they have different consulting ideas. Most entrepreneurs know that the success rate of starting a business is low. Successful entrepreneurs and failed entrepreneurs scoff at the data itself, wondering whether it is a statistical deviation or a psychological problem.
6. It can help us to see more three-dimensional visitors by discussing the timing when visitors come to consult us from the beginning. For example, the visitor's current topic of life is to meet his parents to talk about marriage, but he can't show his bright past performance and needs to be recognized. Whether it is ability or economic strength, if we consider his career choice and life topic together, we can see more quickly that the visitor's more urgent need at present may be survival-making money and paying off the card debt as soon as possible. If it is clear that it is to solve this problem, then the consultation can focus on helping visitors figure out how long it will take to pay off the card debt (focusing on short-term goals)
7. It is also important to spend time sorting out visitors' previous entrepreneurial experience and work experience. It is important to detect whether visitors have certain patterns, find the crux and belief problems, and talk about the present and the future through the past.
