Dingyuan Middle School was founded in 1946, formerly known as Dingyuan Junior High School. At the beginning of 1949, Dingyuan was liberated, and the original county junior high school was changed to Huai Jin Middle School Jinyuan Branch. In May of the same year, it was renamed as Dingyuan Junior High School in northern Anhui. 1953 was renamed Dingyuan No.1 junior high school. /kloc-in the autumn of 0/958, the school opened a high school class, and the school name was Dingyuan Middle School in Anhui Province.
1973 school is divided into two middle schools, the headquarters of which was named Dingyuan No.1 Middle School in Anhui Province, 1978 was identified as a key middle school in Chuxian County, and 1986 was renamed Dingyuan Middle School. In 2006, it was approved as a model high school in Anhui Province.
