Xiamen Underwater World is located in Huangjiadu on the east bank of Gulangyu Island. It turned out to be Gulangyu Park, near the ferry terminal. It is located in the original Gulangyu Park west of Gulangyu Wharf.

Xiamen Underwater World has novel facilities and modern equipment, and the most prominent facility is the subsea tunnel. The cross-harbour tunnel is 80m long and1.5m wide. Entering the cross-harbour tunnel, standing on the electric trail, you can see the sunken fish ponds on both sides. Passengers can "enter the underwater world", swim with the fish without diving, and see the fish world from top to bottom in all directions. The endless stream of fish is close at hand, passing by, fierce sharks with sharp teeth are coming, free and slow giant fish are floating overhead ... Divers feed the fish underwater, and the wonderful scenes of fish competing for food and mermaids mixing together are amazing.
