Huang: Building a Happy Bridge for Special Children

Huang is cheerful, capable and talkative in front of reporters. When the reporter asked about this journey, Huang told us her tortuous entrepreneurial story.

Before she was laid off, she worked as an assistant accountant in Xiapu Grain Management Institute. Although a comfortable job and a stable income have given her a stable life, she can't resist her determination to go out and make a break, just because she knows her inner thoughts better than others: a comfortable life can't bring happiness to herself; On the contrary, after a long time, it will obliterate its entrepreneurial spirit. Although a disabled person has to pay more hardships than ordinary people to start a business, she believes that success lies ahead as long as she never gives up. With a dream, Huang firmly embarked on the road of entrepreneurship and proved to the world with indomitable attitude that disabled people can also succeed in entrepreneurship. She flattened the rugged terrain with a solid footprint, split many thorns with a brave heart, and finally let the flowers of entrepreneurship bloom quietly along the footprint.

Start a business for the first time: dispel concerns and start a private kindergarten.

1992, Huang was dismissed by the company. When she was just laid off, she felt that her life had lost its direction and she was very confused. She didn't know what to do. Mei Zhen, a classmate who worked in Nanchang at that time, went home and suggested that she open a kindergarten. After listening to Huang's suggestion, I was surprised. It turned out that she thought that kindergartens could only be opened. Can I drive privately? With doubts, Huang came to Nanchang and visited a kindergarten introduced by Mei Zhen. After the visit, she deeply felt that running a kindergarten was a promising career, and especially thanked Mei Zhen for providing her with such good entrepreneurial information.

1In August 1994, Huang decided to use a three-story building built by his parents in Dongpu to start a kindergarten. However, her husband is firmly opposed to this decision. After all, the responsibility of opening a kindergarten is too great and the children are too young. If something goes wrong, it will be terrible. Huang's parents also opposed her decision. Without start-up funds, Huang was encouraged with the support of her uncle. Seeing her daughter's determination, Huang's parents finally turned to support her.

At that time, Dongpu was a newly developed community, and houses were being built everywhere, and the road was not easy. In order not to affect enrollment, she went door to door. By the time the school started, the kindergarten had finally accepted 16 children, and invited a hard-working and studious girl as a teacher. At first, because of her disability, she received many cold words from Huang, but these cold words did not dampen her enthusiasm, but encouraged her to move on. 16 children are divided into two classes. There is a boy named Wang in Huang's class. His grandfather is a retired teacher. Every time after school, Bi Hui is picked up by his grandfather. One day, Mr. Bi said to Huang, "Mr. Huang, I came to meet someone early these two days, but I stood outside the door listening to your lecture." You are really good and will be an excellent teacher in the future. " Huang was encouraged by teacher Bi's words, and she made up her mind to do better.

After a year of hard work, there are more than 60 children in the kindergarten. In order to improve his professional knowledge, Huang humbly learned from the old-timers of preschool education, and also participated in the first training class for preschool teachers held in the city. So in that July, she rode her bike from Dongpu to No.2 Middle School in the scorching sun every day, and it was five kilometers, plus forty steps. For Huang, it was still a disastrous July: my father had a sudden cerebral hemorrhage and was admitted to the hospital, and he had to visit before class every day; A mother must look after her wife and granddaughter at the same time. In order to let her mother rest, she and her brother take turns to take care of her father at night. However, in this case, Huang still did not give up studying, and successfully obtained the kindergarten teacher's certificate and the director's certificate.

Encounter misfortune: the support of parents and children becomes spiritual comfort

Under the careful management of Huang, the kindergarten was gradually recognized by parents, and the number of children entering the park reached 300, so she rented another building. But the joy of success did not last long. Huang feels that his career is not only bigger, but also better. She decided to reduce the number of students, return the rented building and redecorate her house. Each class is enrolled according to the national standard in order to be exquisite.

Soon, Huang experienced another blow in her life-divorce from her husband. Although her career was not very successful at that time, she still won the custody of her daughter and took on tens of thousands of yuan in debt. At that time, her idea became very simple, running the kindergarten well, raising her daughter and paying off her debts.

In this most painful and desperate day, Mr. Huang will read some inspirational articles and listen to music. The encouragement of family and friends also gave her great spiritual comfort. "The development of kindergartens is very stable, and many children still keep in touch with us after graduation." This made her feel very gratified.

At that time, there was a child named Xiaoxiao in the kindergarten. Because her parents are busy at work, she wants to send her to the kindergarten near her grandmother's house, but Xiaoxiao cries at her grandmother's house every day and clamors to go to Miss Huang's kindergarten. Grandma is old and in poor health, so she can't pick up and drop off. Xiaoxiao's parents found Huang to discuss countermeasures, and Huang immediately decided to send Xiaoxiao to school. "At that time, I just bought a women's scooter. One day, on the way to take Xiaoxiao to school, it rained cats and dogs. I gave her my raincoat so as not to get wet and smile. At that time, the 5-year-old smiled and said,' Teacher, I will give you a plane when I grow up. The plane will be fast, and you will get home before it rains! "At that moment, I felt that it was worthwhile for Huang to pay more.

Learning to recharge: The recovery of a child with language disorder makes her full of confidence.

Later, one thing made Huang feel more deeply about it. One morning, an aunt led a five-year-old boy to find her. "Are you a director?" Words haven't say that finish, menstruation's tears fell, and Huang hurriedly held each other and sat down. "Aunt, take your time, don't worry." It turns out that this aunt's grandson is Liu Cong 'an, and he can't speak at the age of five. Everyone suspects that he is deaf and dumb, and several kindergartens will not accept him. I heard that Huang is a good man and the kindergarten is good, so my aunt came to beg her to accept the poor child. "Aunt, don't worry, I will accept your grandson." Huang's firm answer made Auntie burst into tears instantly. Immediately, Huang learned more about Liu Cong 'an from his aunt and put him in He Laoshi's class, which has been working in kindergarten for four years. However, as soon as Liu Cong 'an entered the park, two parents offered to transfer their children, for fear that Liu Cong 'an would affect their growth. Huang then found two parents, communicated with them, reasoned, moved by emotion, and relieved his worries. He firmly stated that even if his child transferred to another school, he would not give up his child. Finally, parents also expressed their support.

To this end, Huang and He Laoshi specially made a lesson plan for Liu Cong 'an. Many things happen. Six months later, Liu Congan spoke, but the language still lacked coherence. Such progress has made them more confident in Liu Cong 'an's recovery. In the annual "June 1" report performance in the park, the teachers asked Liu Cong 'an to participate in two programs, one is dancing and the other is singing. Over the past year, the children's changes have surprised all the parents in the park. Liu Cong 'an's grandmother watched, wiping away tears of happiness.

Liu Cong 'an's incident made Huang Yiping feel that he should constantly recharge his batteries and improve his teaching ability. When she learned that Teacher Yang, the daughter of her parents and friends, was engaged in preschool education for mentally retarded children in Shanghai and achieved great success, she immediately decided to use her summer vacation to learn from teachers in Shanghai. When Huang came to Shanghai, he saw a group of special children for the first time. These children are led by adults because they have autism and have learning difficulties. Huang has never heard the word "autism" before, and the ABA teaching and TEACCH teaching methods used to treat autism have also opened her eyes and benefited a lot. What moved her even more was the parents who brought their children to class: some children's mothers did a good job and gave up their careers in order to accompany their children to class in institutions; There is a child whose grandmother is a university professor. It takes an hour to take the child to class by changing trains several times.

Start a business again: open an autism rehabilitation education center

After returning from Shanghai, Huang's mood has not been calm for a long time. She decided to open an autism rehabilitation education center. Teacher Deng, who happened to be engaged in special education in Shanghai for six years, returned to Yichun at this time. At her place, Huang contacted and met some parents of autistic children and gave them free classes. What makes her sad is that some parents are unwilling to accept the fact that their children have autism and miss the best recovery period for their children.

After half a year's preparation, this rehabilitation education development center was finally established to recruit autistic, mentally retarded and physically disabled children under 3- 12 years old. After rehabilitation and intellectual education, most mentally retarded children enter ordinary primary schools or special education schools to receive compulsory education. If they really can't enter primary schools or special education schools, the center will continue to provide them with vocational rehabilitation education, so that they can master a skill of assisting employment and let their children better contact with society; Under the education of teachers and the supervision of parents, they are assisted in employment, so that they can have a basic source of livelihood, solve the worries of families with special children, and build a bridge of happiness for children. The center has been well received by parents since its official opening.

Huang told reporters that in fact, there is a tearful story behind the parents of every autistic child. Yang Yang Jr. was found to have autism when he was 3 years old. His mother could not accept this cruel fact and left Yang Yang. Despite her old age and illness, Yang Yang's grandmother brought Yang Yang to the age of 6. During this period, her relatives and friends advised her to give up Yang Yang, but she always said that as long as there was a glimmer of hope, she would stick to it. This is a kind of life. Every time I see this strong grandmother send her grandson to class, everyone respects her from the heart. Several parents of children aged 65,438+02 saw that the teachers in the center were very hard, and offered to let the children aged 3-5 receive cognitive and sensory training first, so that these children would not miss the best rehabilitation education period, which deeply touched Huang. A father rented a house in the center for the convenience of his son's class.

* * * Achieve dreams, and dreams light up eternity. We have reason to believe that Huang's road to entrepreneurship will become wider and wider and will eventually become a road to wealth. I also hope that more and more disabled people and determined people will emerge to join the entrepreneurial world and add a touch of color and love to this world.
