Guizhou University Vocational and Technical Teachers College is a college specialized in vocational and technical education and teaching research in Guizhou University, located in Caijiaguan, Yunyan District, Guiyang City.
The college has eight teaching units: Computer and Communication Engineering Department, Information Engineering Department, Economic Management Department, Business Administration Department, Electromechanical Engineering Department, Mining Engineering Department, Architectural Engineering Department and Experimental Training Center. The major covers vocational and technical education, engineering, economics, management and other disciplines. There are more than 20 undergraduate courses in computer science and technology, communication engineering, electronic information science and technology, education technology, automation, mechanical design, manufacturing and automation, financial management, tourism management, social work, e-commerce, logistics management, marketing, transportation, civil engineering and engineering management, automobile beauty and maintenance, printing technology, applied electronic technology, coal mine technology, mine electromechanical, mine ventilation and safety, and construction engineering.
College is the national key construction vocational education teacher training base selected by the Ministry of Education, and undertakes the training tasks of secondary vocational school teachers studying for master's degree, ordinary undergraduate vocational education teachers, national vocational education teachers and related special tasks of the Ministry of Education and Guizhou Provincial Department of Education.
The college has the safety management training qualification issued by the State Administration of Work Safety and Guizhou Coal Mine Safety Supervision Bureau, and has a number of special vocational skills training and appraisal qualifications.
