The third Qiantang River Bridge is located between the first and second bridges of Qianjiang River, with a total length of 5,700 meters, of which the main bridge length is 1.280 meters. The cable-stayed bridge is a cooperative system of twin towers and single cable plane continuous beam, and the height of the pylon above the bridge deck is 8 1 m. Each tower has 15 pairs of harp cables. The bridge deck of the main bridge is 29.5m wide, with six lanes in both directions, and there are1.5m pedestrian sightseeing lanes on both sides. In the design and construction at that time, the Third Qianjiang Bridge created many bridges in China. The total investment of this project is 800 million yuan. During the period of 1998, our office undertook the east line project of Hangzhou Ring Road. This project is an important part of expressway around Hangzhou, with a total length of 123km, and it is also a section of Shanghai-Yunnan-Ruili high-grade highway, one of the trunk lines of 12 national highway planned by the Ministry of Communications. The total investment is about 2.2 billion yuan. The total length of the project is 23.494 kilometers, starting from Shenshi Town, Haining in the north, connecting Shanghai-Hangzhou Expressway, crossing Tanghe River, Dongxi Avenue and 0 1 provincial highway in the south, passing Yuhang District, Jianggan District and Hangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone in Hangzhou, and ending at Qiantang River to Xiaoshan Hongken Farm and connecting Hangzhou-Jinqu Expressway. Xiasha Bridge is the control project of the whole project, with a total length of 8,230 meters, a main bridge crossing the river of 2,400 meters and a bridge width of 34.5 meters. It is a combination system of rigid frame and continuous beam, and it is the largest and longest bridge on Qiantang River at present. The project started on February 30th 1999, was completed and opened to traffic in February 2002, and is being declared as a national quality project. In 2003, our bureau began to invest in the construction of expressway from Hangzhou to Qiandao Lake (from Hangzhou to Tonglu). Hangzhou-expressway (Hangzhou-Tonglu section) is a key project for Hangzhou to implement the strategy of "traffic westward", and it is also an important basic, pilot and key project to build the city's "one-and-a-half-hour traffic circle, tourism circle and economic circle". The project starts from Pu Yuan Town, Xihu District in the east, connects the south line of Hangzhou Ring Expressway, and passes through Fuyang City to Tonglu Zhixia. The total length of the project is about 76 kilometers, and the designed driving speed is 1.20km/h, with a total investment of about 5 billion yuan. It is an important part of the whole Hangzhou-Guizhou-expressway and is scheduled to be completed and opened to traffic by the end of 2005.
