Due to the private release of Classical and others, Yan Poxi caught him and made him kill Yan Poxi and flee overnight. During this period, he made many heroes and went to Liangshan. And led the troops to conquer Zhujiazhuang and Gaotangzhou.
After his death, Chao Gai succeeded Liang Shanzhai, advocated and accepted the favor of the court, and defected to Liao, Wang Qing, Fang La and so on. He successively made meritorious military service and was named Doctor Wude, and Chuzhou was appeased. Finally, Gao Qiu killed him with poisoned wine.

The Water Margin is one of China's four classical novels. It is a chapter-by-chapter novel with the Sung River Uprising as the main story background at the end of the Northern Song Dynasty, and it belongs to a heroic legend in genre.
