But American scholars call it a hybrid perfume rose. Whether this system is established is still controversial internationally. Zhuang Hua rose is characterized by combining the advantages of both parents. Plants grow taller and stronger than hybrid perfume rose and multi-flowered rose, generally higher than 1.5m, and their flowering ability and cold tolerance also inherit the best characteristics of their parents. The flower diameter is slightly smaller than that of hybrid perfume rose but larger than that of multi-flower rose, generally above 10cm, and the color range is close to that of parents. Bud shape, flower shape, leaves and thorns are similar to hybrid perfume roses. These varieties include MissFrance, Gloaming, Bai Xueshan, QueenElizabeth and Mentenzuma.
