Admission batch
The full name of the admission line is the minimum admission control score line for college enrollment. It refers to the lowest score (total score) standard for recruiting new students determined by the provincial admissions department according to the results of all local candidates' college entrance examination and the enrollment plan issued by the state in that year.
Only the files of candidates (usually called "on-line candidates") whose total score in the college entrance examination reaches or exceeds this score are eligible to be read by the admissions institutions and selected for admission.
Under normal circumstances, "online candidates" are about 20% more than planned enrollment. Admission lines in various places are divided into classes and batches. Classes are generally divided into liberal arts, science, music (arts and sciences), art (arts and sciences), sports and so on. Each class is divided into early batches, the first batch, the second batch and so on. The admission scores of each batch of arts and sciences only stipulate the total score of cultural examination, and the minimum admission control scores of music, art and sports majors also stipulate the total score of cultural examination and professional examination.
