If a Shenzhen resident marries a foreigner or a Shenzhen resident marries a Taiwan Province resident in Shenzhen, both men and women shall go through the marriage registration office of Shenzhen Civil Affairs Bureau.

When Shenzhen residents register for marriage, they shall present the following documents and supporting materials:
1. My household registration book and ID card (original and photocopy);

Foreigners applying for marriage registration shall submit the following documents and materials:
1. My valid passport (original and photocopy) or other valid international travel documents;
