The whole line is constructed according to the two-way four-lane expressway standard, in which the starting point is about134km away from Dezhou North Interchange, the design speed is120km, and the subgrade width is 28m. Dezhou North Interchange is about 10 km to the end, and the subgrade width is 26 meters. There are 9 toll stations in Wudidong, Yangxin, Qingyun, Leling, Ningjin, Dezhou East, Dezhou North (main and sub-stations), Dezhou West and Luji Main Line, and 3 service areas in Yangxin, Leling and Dezhou East. Leling and Dezhou have two maintenance areas and two management offices. After the completion of the project, the northernmost "one horizontal" expressway network in the province will be connected to the whole line, and the northern Shandong and eastern Hebei regions will open convenient sea passages, which will play an important role in accelerating the development of marine economy, integrating into Jinan city circle and docking Bohai Economic Zone in the above areas, and at the same time provide a solid guarantee for realizing the "one body and two wings" development strategy put forward by the provincial party committee and government.
The project started in June+February, 2008 with a contract period of 36 months. On may 22nd, 20 12, it passed the handover acceptance and was officially opened to traffic on June 20th 13.
