1. School violence refers to physical bullying in school bullying, often accompanied by vicious violence, which is characterized by gang, juvenile, premeditated and worse; School bullying refers to an incident in which one of the students inside and outside the campus intentionally or maliciously bullies or insults the other through physical means, language, internet and other means, resulting in physical injury, property loss or mental damage to the other party. School bullying mostly occurs in primary and secondary schools.
2. Legal basis: Article 130 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Protection of Minors.
In this Law, the meanings of the following terms are:
(1) Units in close contact with minors refer to educational institutions such as schools and kindergartens; Off-campus training institutions; Minor rescue and protection institutions, child welfare institutions and other minor resettlement and rescue institutions; Infant care service institutions and early education service institutions; Off-campus trusteeship and temporary foster care institutions; Domestic service agencies; Medical institutions that provide medical services for minors; Other enterprises, institutions and social organizations responsible for the education, training, guardianship, rescue, nursing and medical treatment of minors;
(2) Schools refer to ordinary primary and secondary schools, special education schools, secondary vocational schools and specialized schools;
(3) Student bullying refers to the behavior that occurs between students, and one party intentionally or maliciously bullies and insults through physical means, language, internet, etc., causing personal injury, property loss or mental damage to the other party.
Second, how to prevent school violence
1, strengthen education in all aspects. Schools should carry out special education with the theme of governing school bullying, carry out moral, mental health and safety education, invite public security, judicial and other relevant departments to carry out legal education in schools, and organize teaching staff to concentrate on learning relevant policies, measures and methods for preventing and handling the school bullying incident;
2. Establish rules and regulations. Formulate and improve school bullying's prevention and treatment systems and measures, establish an emergency response plan for the school bullying incident, and clarify the responsibilities of faculty and staff in relevant positions to prevent and deal with school bullying;
3. Improve the system. Strengthen the construction of civil air defense, physical defense and technical defense in school bullying, make full use of the psychological counseling room to carry out psychological health counseling for students, announce the telephone number of student assistance or school bullying governance and clarify the person in charge;
4, timely disposal. Once bullying happens, it is necessary to find, investigate and dispose of it in time. Anyone suspected of breaking the law should report the case to the public security department in time and cooperate with the investigation.
