In April of the 37th year of the Republic of China (1948), * * party member Qiu and other three people were appointed by the organization to set up the Zhangjiang Town Committee of Zheng Yang Primary School Branch in the south of Zhangjiang Gate to conduct secret activities.
1949 After liberation, the administrative system of Zhangjiang Town has undergone several changes, the party's grass-roots organizations have been growing, and the number of people in party member has been increasing. By the end of 2003, there were 54 grass-roots party branches (general branches) in Zhangjiang Town, with 2,580 people in party member.
From 1958 to 1999, Zhangjiang commune (township) and Sun Xiaoqiao commune (township) held 1 1 party congress respectively.
20011On February 5th, Zhangjiang Town and sunqiao town City "retired two to build one". On October 5th and 6th, 2002/kloc-0, the first congress of Zhangjiang Town was held, and the first committee of Zhangjiang Town was elected.
Zhangjiang Town Party Committee has organized personnel, discipline inspection, publicity, United front and other departments. Responsible for training cadres, educating party member, supervising and inspecting party member cadres and grass-roots party branches, carrying out various party affairs construction, and coordinating and doing a good job in overseas Chinese propaganda.
Under the leadership of China * * * Production Party, mass organizations such as trade unions, * * * Communist Youth League and women's federations actively participated in the construction of two civilizations in Zhangjiang Town, and carried out various activities, which played their due roles.
After liberation, the party launched political movements again and again, especially the "rectification movement against the right" from April 1957 to February 1958;
1March 1963 to1July 1966, launched the "socialist education movement";
From May 1966 to June 1976, the "Cultural Revolution Movement" was launched.
1978 After the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee was held in mid-October, the focus of the Party's work shifted to economic construction. As early as the feudal era, the wealthy folk squires in the town had private schools that hired literati as teachers to teach their children. The earliest recorded theory of Dun Renyi in the history of the town was founded by Qin Bingqian and others in the 13th year of Qing Yongzheng (1735). In the late Qing dynasty, the imperial examination was abolished and the school was established. In the 27th year of Guangxu (190 1), Ai Chengxi and Wu Daben, squires of Aixiangqiao in Changren Township, founded private Zheng Yang Primary School, which was the first primary school in Chuansha County. During the Republic of China, schools were divided into public and private. 1949, junior high schools in the town 1, primary schools 15.
After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), education developed rapidly.
By 1965, there are 26 primary schools and 5 middle schools in the town. In the early days of the Cultural Revolution, school education was impacted, some teachers were censored and criticized, students went out in series, the school was once in a state of semi-paralysis, and the quality of education was seriously degraded.
After the crushing of Jiangqing counter-revolutionary group in Zhangjiang Town in +0976, the education front was in disorder. The education quality was restored and improved by comprehensively implementing the Party's education policy, popularizing nine-year compulsory education and strengthening the construction of teachers. At the same time, the government has increased investment in educational facilities, and the school buildings and equipment of primary and secondary schools in the town have been basically upgraded.
Since the 1990s, Pudong Foreign Language School affiliated to Shanghai International Studies University, the Second Affiliated Middle School of East China Normal University and Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine have successively settled in Zhangjiang.
From 65438 to 0990, with the development and opening up of Pudong, the rural population gradually shifted to market towns. According to the spirit of the relevant documents of the Municipal Education Commission, the village schools will be merged gradually and the school layout will be adjusted. By the end of 2002, all the schools in the village had merged, leaving only Xue Ying Primary School.
Adult education has gradually developed to multi-level, multi-channel and multi-form from the youth literacy in the early days of liberation, to the people learning political culture in the 1970s, and then to adult schools focusing on academic education, basic education and improving workers' skills and quality in the 1980s. The township (town) government set up an education committee to co-ordinate the management of education and teaching in the whole town. In 2002, Zhangjiang Town Adult School was awarded the title of "One Thousand Schools and One Million Training Work Advanced Collective in Pudong New Area". Before the founding of the People's Republic of China, medical and health services in the town were scarce. At that time, there were only over 30 private practitioners, most of whom were Chinese medicine practitioners. The delivery of the Second Affiliated Middle School of East China Normal University on Chen Hui Road relies on the old method. Except for a few people who were vaccinated with vaccinia vaccine, other diseases were not prevented, and they died of various infectious diseases, parasitic diseases, neonatal tetanus, dystocia and puerperal fever. Schistosomiasis is rampant in Hanjiadang and Dayandang areas, with many patients. Due to the high cost of medical consultation, the working people have difficulty in seeking medical treatment because of poverty, and feudal superstitions are prevalent, asking God to worship Buddha and delaying their illness. In the early days of liberation, the average life expectancy of Zhangjiang was only about 45 years old.
Zhuang's pediatrics in Xifu, the inner ring of the town, has been handed down for seven generations, and it has been more than 50 years since 1850. The descendants of Zhuang's family have a good medical skill and enjoy a high reputation in Pudong.
After the founding of New China, the Party and the government attached great importance to people's health and formulated the policy of "facing workers, peasants and soldiers, combining traditional Chinese and western medicine, and combining health work with mass movements", and infectious diseases were effectively controlled. The medical and health undertakings have been continuously developed, and the system of free medical care, labor insurance medical care and cooperative medical care has been implemented, and maternal and child health care and health examination have been carried out. At the same time, the patriotic health campaign was widely carried out, the drinking water sanitation and feces management in Zhangjiang Town were improved, and the people's health level was improved day by day. According to relevant statistics, the average life expectancy of Zhangjiang township population in 1989 was 76.26 years, including 73 years for males and 80 years for females, which was more than 30 years higher than the average life expectancy at the beginning of liberation. 2/kloc-0 At the beginning of the 20th century, the Department of Orthopaedics of Zhangjiang Health Center formed its own characteristics and enjoyed a high reputation at home and abroad.
