Brief introduction of zhongmou county

Zhongmou county is a county under the jurisdiction of Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, located in the Central Plains. It is located in the middle of Henan Province, bordering Kaifeng, the ancient capital in the east, Zhengzhou, the provincial capital in the west, and the Yellow River in the north. Located in the lower reaches of the Yellow River, between Zhengzhou and Yanbian, it has a total land area of 14 16.6 square kilometers, a total population of 7 10/0,568 (2012) and a jurisdiction of 65438+. It is the central area of the Central Plains Economic Zone, Zhengzhou Metropolitan Area and Zhengzhou Airport Economic Comprehensive Experimental Zone. It is the core area of Zhengzhou Bianrong metropolis strategy and Zhengzhou Bianye industrial belt, with all kinds of traffic mileage of nearly 3,000 kilometers and road network density of 200 kilometers/100 square kilometers, ranking first among county-level cities in the province. Zhongmou county is bordered by Beijing-Guangzhou Railway and National Highway 107 in the west, Beijing-Kowloon Railway and National Highway 106 in the east, Huo Expressway, Avenue, National Highway 220, Longhai Railway and Expressway in the east, Provincial Highway 223 and New National Highway 107 in the north and south, 25 kilometers away from Zhengzhou International Airport. Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway, Lianhuo Expressway and Min Zheng Expressway meet in the west of the county seat, and are known as "two cities on one shoulder, three cities all the way". There are rivers such as Jia Luhe and Xiaoqing River in the territory, which belong to the continental monsoon climate of warm temperate zone with four distinct seasons. The annual precipitation is 616mm, and the annual average temperature is 14.2℃. Longhai Railway, Zhengbian expressway and 3 10 National Road pass through the territory. There are more than 10 cultural relics in Neolithic Age, Warring States, Qin and Han Dynasties, Tang Dynasty, Song Dynasty and Ming and Qing Dynasties, among which the twin towers of Shousheng Temple in Song Dynasty are provincial-level cultural relics protection units. At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, the ancient battlefield of "Battle of Guandu" has been turned into a tourist attraction.
