There are several reasons for being interested in Gallup:
1. I once saw a saying: everyone has a natural mission, just like a silver mine waiting to be mined in the mountains. I never feel that I have any advantages, and I am very curious about where my silver mine is.
Even if it is not an advantage, it still has some characteristics. Doing things better will make us get twice the result with half the effort. Just as most people can't eat with their left hand, I want to know what I am good at.
I chose a Gallup Advantage Identifier for my department's birthday in September, and bought a Gallup Advantage Evaluation in May 438+10. The test process needs a continuous and undisturbed environment, and each question has a timeout of 20 s. There is no need to think too much about following the first reaction, because more than 95% of people's decisions are made through the subconscious. I haven't done it because I'm lazy.
The double 12 day happened to be the third graduation sharing of "dominate life and work belongs to you". In order to understand what others are saying, I tested myself.
After the test, I made four reports, namely, the report on marked talents, the report on ranked talents, the guide to advantage interpretation and the report on Clifton Advantage 34 talents. Let me talk about my achievements first: my former 10 dominant themes are: assembly, learning, harmony, communication, positivity, responsibility, individuality, please, overcome difficulties and think.
It's quite confusing. These two words have too many explanations and meanings to define. Combined with detailed reports, I will briefly talk about my first impression of the top five rankings:
There are several things that I consciously exercise myself, such as collecting (if it is equivalent to curiosity), communicating and being active, while learning and harmony are not suitable literally. It's interesting to see the detailed explanation:
Collection: I understand the trigger point of collection here as curiosity. I remember asking my parents questions when I was a child. The most common answer is that you will know when you grow up. After a long time, you will not ask. Later, I found that I had no hobbies and no ability to innovate, which made my life very boring. In addition, I began to read books, consciously pay attention to the things around me and regain my curiosity, and actively discover and find the fun of this world from my daily life.
Study: Being ranked second was quite unexpected, and I began to feel unworthy. I am a little lazy in my study at school. My own analysis, the main reason is that I have no goal. I only know that I study to get into college, but that's what my mother wants me to do. I don't know what the college entrance examination means to me, and I don't think it is my study goal. The result is that teachers who don't like don't study, and they don't study when they encounter complicated problems. Read the detailed explanation of the report, especially that learning is only a process, not a result. I think this description is in line with my present state. There was a time when I wanted to learn everything, whether I was studying or studying. I want to learn too much, but I can apply what I have learned. Now I think I have understood the purpose of learning.
Harmony: the explanation of harmony is "I seek knowledge." I don't like conflicts. I'm looking for areas where we can agree. "I feel a little different, and I quite agree with one sentence: the more you argue, the more clear the truth is. So many times there are disputes and arguments that show that everyone is paying attention to this matter. Without any opinions, it doesn't mean that you agree, and you probably don't care. So I don't hate conflict, but I am really curious, because it will make things move forward. The ceiling of this point is Grandpa Deng's "shelving disputes and developing together". So I think it is more appropriate to say * * * knowledge than harmony.
Communication: self-awareness has been my shortcoming since I was a child. For decades, my cognition of myself is: clumsy mouth and poor tongue. So are my parents. Many times, I can't react at the moment when things happen, and I often regret it afterwards: why didn't you say anything at that time? Even if I won the occasional quarrel on the bus before, I can still be happy all day. "Flattery" may be a misunderstanding of communication before. I hate such people very much, so I didn't think I should learn communication before. The longer I stay in the society, the more I understand what communication is and why it is important, and I begin to study consciously. This high ranking may be related to my previous study of communication training camp, which is not only a skill, but also a conscious awareness and attention. This is the beginning of change and has indeed improved.
Ten years ago, this word probably didn't suit me. I used to have a fixed mentality that everyone's natural personality characteristics and family environment are innate, but I don't have any. Later, after I started studying, I also turned to a growing mentality. I found that many things, such as logical ability and personal growth, can actually be learned, but the future can actually be obtained by my own efforts, which has a great influence and change on me.
1. Collection: I am curious and like to collect and sort out all kinds of information.
(1) "Spiritual life" has great attraction to me.
(2) I don't like being considered mediocre and ordinary.
2. Learning: What excites us most is the process of seeking knowledge rather than the result.
( 1)? Eager to constantly improve themselves.
(2)? I like being surrounded by smart young people.
(3)? I think education is an activity that needs persistence.
3. Harmony: avoiding conflicts and seeking knowledge.
( 1)? I am willing to let them do things in their own way and express their views.
(2)? I may help my teammates find a compromise, and my colleagues will not lose the respect of others, nor will they endanger their position in the team.
4. Communication: Good at expressing ideas in words, excellent in conversation and vivid in explanation.
( 1)? It may be rare for me to be completely speechless. -don't quite agree or agree.
(2)? I hope to make friends with people who like to think, reflect, meditate, meditate or invent.
(3)? I value and am good at oral exchange of views with others.
5. Positive: I am very willing to help others succeed.
( 1)? I sometimes feel good about everything that life brings.
(2)? Always share your challenges, happy moments and sad things with others frankly.
(3)? I sometimes inspire some people's enthusiasm. When I help others to experience their own life more fully, my own work, study and life will become more exciting.
Top five: Harmony ranks so high. "Collection" ranks first, and I always feel that my curiosity is not enough to support it, but I did compare the working meals of BYD and Audi 4S stores.
Others: I thought "discipline", "consideration", "tolerance" and "fairness" would rank higher, but none of them ranked first 10.
The above is just my first impression literally, I didn't realize it or feel it.
In addition to the test report, Gallup also has the professional interpretation of certified coaches, but in fact, the sequencing and correlation of various topics will also have a "chemical" effect.
In the future, with the help of coaches, teaching assistants and teammates, I will try my best to understand and perceive the moments when these thematic features are brought into play, to exercise and adjust, and to help me do a better job performance.
At least, I want to eat with my right hand.
