What is a coring bit?

Core bits are mainly used to drill holes in steel plates and other products, and hollow bits are used in conjunction with machines specially used for core bits.

Core bit, also known as hollow bit, is mainly used for drilling steel plates and other products. The hollow drill is used together with the special machine for core drill, which has the characteristics of high efficiency and low cost. The cutting edge of coring bit adopts cemented carbide, which has three-layer end tooth geometry, easy cutting, long service life of steel plate bit and double flat handle interface, and is suitable for all kinds of clock drilling machines. Carbide drills are also suitable for various vertical drilling machines, radial drilling machines, milling machines, lathes, etc.

Classification of coring bits: according to materials, it can be divided into alloy bits and tool steel bits. Alloy drills are mainly used for hard materials, while tool steel drills are generally used for soft materials. For these two kinds of drills, tool steel is relatively cheaper.
