The territory of the Yuan Dynasty started from the Sea of Japan in the east, the South China Sea in the south, Tianshan Mountain in the west and Lake Baikal in the north. The whole country is divided into Gyeonggi area directly under the jurisdiction of Zhongshu Province, Tubo area under the jurisdiction of Zheng Xuan Academy and ten Zhongshu provinces, namely Lingbei Province, Liaoyang Province, Gansu Province, Shaanxi Province, Jiangbei Province of Henan Province, Huguang Province, Sichuan Province, Yunnan Province, Jiangsu Province and Jiangxi Province.
Expanding the vassal States of the data yuan dynasty
The vassal states of the Yuan Dynasty were Korea, Myanmar, Annan, Zhancheng and the four great khanates. Among them, there are two directly subordinate vassal States, namely, the Koryo Dynasty and the Bagan Dynasty in Myanmar, which are divided into the eastbound province and the central province in Myanmar. In northwest China, 1268, the Wokuotai Khanate Haidu attempted to recapture the Khanate, and joined hands with Qincha Khanate and Chahetai Khanate to fight against the Yuan Dynasty, which was known as the Haidu Rebellion.
Until 1304 Yuan Chengzong period, the Yuan court reached a peace agreement with the Three Great Khan States, and together with the Yili Khan State, it recognized the suzerain status of the Yuan Dynasty and became a vassal state of the Yuan Dynasty. In addition, Yuan Chengzong also gave the monarch of Ilihan a Chinese seal, such as "The True Emperor and the Treasure of Wan Yi", which essentially recognized its independence.
During the Yuan Wuzong period of 13 10, the Yuan Dynasty and the Chahetai khanate jointly attacked and wiped out the Wokuotai khanate. During Yuan Wenzong's reign, when compiling the Grand Ceremony of Shi Jing, Qincha khanate, Chahetai khanate and Yili khanate were listed as vassal states of the Yuan Dynasty.
