What software does the construction industry use?
The builder can only read drawings, and CAD is enough. It is a software based on the secondary development of CAD, which is widely used in buildings and equipment, and the structure is basically unnecessary! Builders don't need it either PKPM, sap, midas, ansys and so on are all structural calculation and analysis programs, and the builders don't need any of them! Cost and budget: structural design of Guanglianda, Luban and SJM: PKPM, sap, midas, ansys, etabs, revit and microstation (the latter two are mainstream in foreign countries, but not popular in China, and belong to drawing software. Revit is a product used by autodesk to upgrade CAD. Microstation is the same software as autodesk products. These are the mainstream, as well as explorers, Li Zheng, Morgan and other auxiliary buildings: the building is flat, vertical and segmented, and the building is natural. A few design institutes in China use revit architecture to draw drawings and render renderings, use 3dmax and photoshop to build 3D models, and use sketchup.
